YAHWEH…

IAM_few_names

I am an adult college student majoring in Psychology. I attend a Christian University. Last night, in class, we were sharing our class projects. As it turned out, as each of us shared, we all came back to sharing our testimonies.

My testimony helped me to explain to others why I love, honor, and adore the God and Savior that I serve.

Everyone’s relationship, on their spiritual path,  is different. Each believer has their own relationship with God that is theirs and theirs alone. Every spiritual journey is truly sacred and divine.

I pray for everyone reading  this devotional. May you continually go deeper in your relationship with God. May you continue to hunger and thirst for more of God every day. May your “Love Walk” be a beautiful testimony to others. May your walk be so passionate that it inspires others to have a desire to know God for themselves.

Be blessed today and every day.

I love you with an AMAZING LOVE.

Please get in a posture of worship as you listen to today’s worship video from Hillsong entitled, “Yahweh.”

Prayer is Your Weapon…

For many people, when they think of spiritual warfare they picture a scary scene from the movies. What most people don’t realize is that most spiritual warfare is done on our knees or in a quiet place set aside for our time with God.

The world needs more prayer warriors. We need more people who set aside a time to seek God’s face and go into the Holy of Holies and bow down before God on behave of our families, our country and our world.

One of the most effective prayers is the Lord’s Prayer.

Our Father, in heaven.

Holy, Awesome, and AMAZING is Your Name.

Your will be done, Oh God, on the earth, as it has been decreed and declared in heaven. Let your Kingdom manifest on this earth in the seen and unseen realms.

Give us today what you have ordained for us to have. You are our provider of everything we need. You are our daily supply and our Perfect Portion.

Forgive our sins, Father. May we also forgive and release those who have sinned against us. For you alone are our judge.

Lead and guide us away from temptation. Pull us away from anything that would steal from our relationship with you. Deliver us, protect us, shield us from the spirit of evil.

For your Kingdom, Lord, deserves all of our glory, honor and praise. Amen.

Saints, it’s time to go deeper. It’s time to stand stronger. Protect and cover the areas you have been assigned to by God.

I love you with an AMAZING LOVE.

Let’s Break EVERY chain of bondage to sin and defeat by the enemy.

Be Ready to Fight…

1 Peter 5:7-9

Contemporary English Version (CEV)

God cares for you, so turn all your worries over to him.

Be on your guard and stay awake. Your enemy, the devil, is like a roaring lion, sneaking around to find someone to attack. But you must resist the devil and stay strong in your faith. You know that all over the world the Lord’s followers are suffering just as you are.

Sometimes life moves so smoothly that we can easily forget that there are forces continually working, planning, scheming and fighting behind the scenes.

In our endeavor to do good, we must make sure that we never put our weapons down. We are still soldiers.

pray2

With all my heart, saints, this fight is real and it is constantly going on. If you have gotten relaxed in your warfare, get back in the fight.

If you have neglected interceding for the saints, go back to your prayer closet. Get back to your positions and be ever ready.

Let’s sing and march with our worship/war video this morning. The song is entitled, “This Means WAR!”

I love you with an AMAZING LOVE.

Mercy, Love, and Grace…

Nothing brings me to a place of worship quicker than when I think about God’s Mercy, Love and Grace toward me.

This morning, we come and say, “Thank You, Jesus.”

Father God,

You love Us so deeply. We lay ourselves at your feet. We are your servants and ambassadors. Use us for your glory. Let us be your hands and feet and whatever else you need us to be. Every day is a day to give you praise, glory and honor. We lift our hearts and hands up to you. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Please enjoy today’s worship video entitled, “What Mercy Did For Me.”

I love you with an AMAZING LOVE.

With My Hands Lifted Up…

With My Hands Lifted Up and My Mouth Filled with Praise, with a Heart of Thanksgiving, I will Bless Thee O Lord.

Colossians 3:16-17

Contemporary English Version (CEV)

16 Let the message about Christ completely fill your lives, while you use all your wisdom to teach and instruct each other. With thankful hearts, sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God. 17 Whatever you say or do should be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, as you give thanks to God the Father because of him.

EVERY time I get to praise God, my heart and spirit are overwhelmed. There is ALWAYS a reason to bless the name of the Lord.

I WILL BLESS THE LORD, OH MY SOUL!!!

Saints, get to place, in your worship, that if no one else around you praises God, you will not stop or be deterred from praising God. Never be ashamed of the God you serve.

I want to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season. No matter where you are from or what language you speak, being Thankful is always in season. Amen??!!

Today our worship and is from West Angeles Mass Choir. The medley is entitled, “Bless The Lord Medley.”

Remember, I love you with an AMAZING LOVE. Rev. Marcia Davis

Praying the Will of God…

Good morning, to my brothers and sisters all around the world.

Have you ever heard someone say, “I prayed, but God didn’t answer my prayer?”

So many people give up on God because of unanswered prayer. There is a reason a portion of the Lord’s Prayer contains the following sentence: “Your will be done, on earth, as it has been done in heaven.”

The primary reason prayers to God are not being answered is because the prayer(s) are not being prayed according to God’s will. Most prayers are prayed according to our needs, wants, desires and emotions.

Ask God to help turn your prayers into prayers that line up with his will.

1 John 5:13-15

Contemporary English Version (CEV)

Knowing about Eternal Life

13 All of you have faith in the Son of God, and I have written to let you know that you have eternal life. 14 We are certain that God will hear our prayers when we ask for what pleases him. 15 And if we know that God listens when we pray, we are sure that our prayers have already been answered.

Please enjoy today’s worship video performed by Hillary Scott & The Scott Family. The song is entitled, “Thy Will.”

I love you, with an AMAZING LOVE.

Always Praise God…

Good morning:

I’m so grateful that God loves us. Not because of anything we have done, but because He FIRST loved us.

Think about that for a minute….

God knew every sin we would commit. He knew every time we would blame him for something going wrong. He know every time we would turn our backs on him. But he STILL said, “I Love You So Much.” He loved us in spite of our humanness, judgement and faults.

So when things don’t always turn out the way you planned, remember that Jesus loved you First.

Our Prayer:

Father, Abba, Daddy, Way Shower, Everlasting God:

Help us, your children, remember the sacrifice you made just to love Us. We trust you, even when we can’t see the future. We love you, even when we are scared and in pain. We believe you, because you have never given us a reason not to. We lift our hearts to you and cry, “Holy and Worthy is the Living God and Lamb.” Amen.

Psalm 34:1-8

Contemporary English Version (CEV)

Honor the Lord

I will always praise the Lord.
With all my heart,
    I will praise the Lord.
    Let all who are helpless,
    listen and be glad.
Honor the Lord with me!
    Celebrate his great name.

I asked the Lord for help,
    and he saved me
    from all my fears.
Keep your eyes on the Lord!
You will shine like the sun
    and never blush with shame.
I was a nobody, but I prayed,
    and the Lord saved me
    from all my troubles.

If you honor the Lord,
    his angel will protect you.
Discover for yourself
    that the Lord is kind.
    Come to him for protection,
    and you will be glad.

Worship God this morning. No matter how things may look Right Now, God is STILL worthy of our best praise.

I love you, with an AMAZING LOVE.

Rev. Marcia Davis

Please enjoy and sing with Joe Pace and the Colorado Mass Choir as they sing, “I Will Bless the Lord at All Times.”

God will, Show Up…

Praise God, Praise God, Praise God!!!!

What an awesome week this has been. We have received great feedback on how much people have enjoyed this week’s devotionals, as we Worship in Every Language. I may have to continue this for another week. There are still so many languages we have not covered.

If you have time, this weekend, write me back and tell me your native language. We are ALL brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Today we close out the week with a praise song written by Pastor John P. Key entitled, “Show Up.” The song is performed by one of my favorite choirs, The Heritage Mass Choir out of Seoul Korea.

Be blessed today and know that I love you with an AMAZING LOVE. Rev. Marcia Davis

Here are the English lyrics. Read along as you listen.

“SHOW UP”

If there be anyone who’s going through
We have an answer to the problem for you.

Trust and obey and never give in…

Only the strong shall survive and win.
Just ask the question and the answer shall come
Just exercise your faith and know He’s the one

If there is no sign, keep this in mind
He’ll show up on time

God is not a man that He’ll tell you a lie
If He tells you so, on Him you can rely

Show up, show up, show up
He’ll show up on time

Show up, show up, show up
Show up

He will show up, show up
He will show up, show up
He will show up, show up on time

Every race, tribe, nation, and language, and they stood before the throne…

Good morning:

Today we continue the theme for this week of Worshipping in Every Language.

Our scripture for this week is:

Revelation 7:9-10

Contemporary English Version (CEV)

People from Every Nation

After this, I saw a large crowd with more people than could be counted. They were from every race, tribe, nation, and language, and they stood before the throne and before the Lamb. They wore white robes and held palm branches in their hands, 10 as they shouted,

“Our God, who sits
    upon the throne,
has the power
to save his people,
    and so does the Lamb.”

Today our worship video is in Hebrew. This video does contain  English subtitles.

Enjoy, worship and praise our God. May the Whole World sing His praises.

Father God,

Allow us to see our brothers and sisters in Christ as our true family.

Worship in Every Language…

Good morning,

This week has been so much fun as I listen to different worship songs from all around the world. I wish the world could become one big choir and we could sing as ONE to God.

Today, our worship video is in Greek. The song is entitled, “Here I Am to Worship.”
