⁷ God cares for you, so turn all your worries over to him.

⁸ Be on your guard and stay awake. Your enemy, the devil, is like a roaring lion, sneaking around to find someone to attack.⁹ But you must resist the devil and stay strong in your faith. You know that all over the world the Lord’s followers are suffering just as you are.

Sometimes life moves so smoothly that we can easily forget that there are forces continually working, planning, scheming and fighting behind the scenes.

In our endeavor to do good, we must make sure that we never put our weapons down. We are still soldiers.

With all my heart, saints, this fight is real and it is constantly going on. If you have gotten relaxed in your warfare, get back in the fight.

If you have neglected interceding for the saints, go back to your prayer closet. Get back to your positions and be ever ready.
