Come, Now is the Time…

Good morning, Beautiful Lights of God:

Family, I’m so excited for us today. Today is one more day that we have the chance to tabernacle and fellowship with God. Today, as we are filled with God’s Holy Spirit, we have the sweet opportunity to know God’s heart.

Several years ago, before life got crazy busy, there was a small group of us that use to gather at each others house and have intimate  times of fellowship, worship and edification in the Lord. Having that intimate time with God blessed my soul so much and I grew and matured, in the faith.  The worship that would come from those small house gatherings made me feel as though I was sitting in the very lap of God.

I believe the time of the small gatherings are beginning to return. They are filled with people that hunger and thirst for God. They are filled with people that want to continue to learn and grow, in an effort to be available for the work God has for them to do. It is so important to be ready when God calls is into action on His behalf.

I encourage you, if you have the opportunity, to either be a part of or create your own local group of believers who can edify and sharpen each other. Small groups of 10, 20, 30 or even 40 people do not replace the larger church body, they enhance it. Take every opportunity you can to learn, grow and then lead.

Hebrews 10:19-25

New Living Translation (NLT)

A Call to Persevere

19 And so, dear brothers and sisters,[a] we can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. 20 By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. 21 And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, 22 let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water.

23 Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. 24 Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. 25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

Enjoy today’s small group worship video. May it help you to grow and be encouraged as you serve the Lord.

I love you with the amazing and everlasting love of the Lord. Go in peace, while serving the Lord.
