Oh Taste and See…

Psalm 34:8

New King James Version (NKJV)

Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him.

Happy Tuesday Morning. We praise God this morning for a brand new day. Yet one more day that we get to lift our voices and hands to heaven to say, “Thank You, Lord.”

What are you thankful for today?

How has God blessed you?

How has God made a way, when you thought there was no way?

When you thought you were all alone, when did you realize that God was waiting patiently for you, with love and mercy?

All that was needed was time for our will to line up with God’s word. As the Lord’s Prayer reminds us, “Your WILL be done, on earth (that means US) as it is in heaven.”

Once I learned how to pray, doors began to fly open, blessings came from all directions, but more importantly the most precious thing I received, as I learned to pray for the Lord’s will to be done, the most precious gift was a peace. An unspeakable, unshakable, Beautiful peace.

The Lord was just waiting for me to put MY AGENDA away and submit to His will for my life. When I let go…my life was forever changed.

  1. I really needed to hear that from someone today. When life comes at us it is hard to find that Peace, but with prayer it is becoming clear. The understand that he gives us challenges he knows we can handle. We need to find peace in knowing it’s going to be OK.

    1. Amen. Isaiah 26:3 reminds us, also, that if our mind is focused on God, then we will have perfect peace. Not just ordinary peace, but PERFECT peace.
      Be still. Calm your mind. Take a deep breath.
      As you exhale, let it all go with these words, “I trust you, God.”

      3 You will keep him in perfect peace,
      Whose mind is stayed on You,
      Because he trusts in You.
