Remove the Mask, Expose the Enemy…

facingyourgiants_title

In warefare, if the enemy is trying to blend in and invade opposition’s territory, what is the one thing that enemy does not want the opposition to realize too soon? The enemy doesn’t want to be exposed too soon. Then their opponent will have the upper hand.

My prayer for us, in this season, is for every enemy of God to be revealed. May the enemies in our lives be unmasked,  prematurely, and exposed. May we, as God’s warriors, stand strong in the face of the enemy. The territory is already ours, we just have walk in faith and believe what God said.

Saints, there is nothing worse than missing your season out of fear.

Numbers 13:27-33

The Message (MSG)

26-27 They presented themselves before Moses and Aaron and the whole congregation of the People of Israel in the Wilderness of Paran at Kadesh. They reported to the whole congregation and showed them the fruit of the land. Then they told the story of their trip:

27-29 “We went to the land to which you sent us and, oh! It does flow with milk and honey! Just look at this fruit! The only thing is that the people who live there are fierce, their cities are huge and well fortified. Worse yet, we saw descendants of the giant Anak. Amalekites are spread out in the Negev; Hittites, Jebusites, and Amorites hold the hill country; and the Canaanites are established on the Mediterranean Sea and along the Jordan.”

30 Caleb interrupted, called for silence before Moses and said, “Let’s go up and take the land—now. We can do it.”

31-33 But the others said, “We can’t attack those people; they’re way stronger than we are.” They spread scary rumors among the People of Israel. They said, “We scouted out the land from one end to the other—it’s a land that swallows people whole. Everybody we saw was huge. Why, we even saw the Nephilim giants (the Anak giants come from the Nephilim). Alongside them we felt like grasshoppers. And they looked down on us as if we were grasshoppers.”

I love you with an amazing and everlasting love.

Wise Sayings of Solomon

A Manual for Living

1-6 These are the wise sayings of Solomon,
    David’s son, Israel’s king—
Written down so we’ll know how to live well and right,
    to understand what life means and where it’s going;
A manual for living,
    for learning what’s right and just and fair;
To teach the inexperienced the ropes
and give our young people a grasp on reality.
There’s something here also for seasoned men and women,
still a thing or two for the experienced to learn—
Fresh wisdom to probe and penetrate,
the rhymes and reasons of wise men and women.

Start with God

Start with God—the first step in learning is bowing down to God;
only fools thumb their noses at such wisdom and learning.

Good morning, Beautiful Family:

I hope everyone had some point in their weekend to rejuvenate and relax. As Christians, part of our rejuvenation comes from our intimate time with God.

It’s wonderful if we attend church on Saturday/Sunday, but what about the other six days in the week? How do you spend intimate time with God?  The reason I ask is because we face challenges, hurdles and tests every day. The good news is that whenever we spend daily time with God, we are given the tools we need to face the challenges of the day.

I have been running a lot lately and my personal time with God has been scattered. This morning, I just stopped and asked God for forgiveness. Even though I am busy doing the work of the ministry, God has called me to, it is still important that I spend my own personal quiet time as well. So this morning, before I began my devotional, I just loved on God and spent time listening.

I must always remember that this sacred journey is not about us, but it’s about Jesus living and working through us. Listen carefully to today’s worship video.

I love you with an amazing and everlasting love. I truly do.

My Identity is in You…

20180706_063904

Hallelujah, Praise Glory and Honor to the King of Glory!!!

Today is the day that WE get another chance to give God praise.

I always tell those who are going through a trial of any kind, “Everything that happens is for our GROWTH or God’s GLORY.”

I praise God right now. I trust God. My identity is in Christ and I am not ashamed. I love hard and I love deep. Why? That is what my Savior did and my identity is in Him.

So, I will give God my very best Hallelujah. I know that whatever comes that it is already OK. I decided to praise God, now. I dont want to wait for the blessings, favor, miracles and overflow to manifest. I want to praise MY God RIGHT NOW!!!!!

Colossians 3:1-4

The Message (MSG)

He Is Your Life

1-2 So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective.

3-4 Your old life is dead. Your new life, which is your real life—even though invisible to spectators—is with Christ in God. He is your life. When Christ (your real life, remember) shows up again on this earth, you’ll show up, too—the real you, the glorious you. Meanwhile, be content with obscurity, like Christ.

HALLELUJAH JESUS!!!!!!!

BE BIG IN ME JESUS!!!!

Have an amazing weekend. Be safe in your travels. Not that He needs our help, but in everything you do and say, make God look God today.

I love you with an amazing and everlasting love.

He Loves Us…

john_316_for_god_so_loved_the_world_in_many_languages-1015x1024

Good morning, Beloved Beautiful Ones:

Do you remember the simple song we learned, when we were little? The song reminded us that, “Jesus loves me, this I know, for the bible tells us so. Little ones to Him belong, they are week, but He is strong. Yes, Jesus loves me.”

God has always wanted so much to have a personal relationship with us. Whether in the New Testament or over and over again, in the Old Testament. God was always eagerly hoping and longing for the hearts’ of His creation to willingly turn back to Him.

Old Testament Scripture

Exodus 34:10

Amplified Bible (AMP)

The Covenant Renewed

10 Then God said, “Behold, I am going to make a covenant. Before all your people I will do wondrous works (miracles) such as have not been created or produced in all the earth nor among any of the nations; and all the people among whom you live shall see the working of the Lord, for it is a fearful and awesome thing that I am going to do with you.

New Testament Scripture

John 3:16

Amplified Bible (AMP)

16 “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.

What if, we, as children of God,  live out the vision God had for us? What if we walked in covenant with God, being led by the Word, His Spirit and His example as he walked among us on earth. Oh how powerful and successful we would be.

We have tried so many other ways. May the heart of America permanently turn back to God.

I love you, Saints of God, and there is absolutely  nothing you can do about it. LOL

May we be fully devoted,

Rev. Marcia Davis

Good morning, Warriors:

I want to share an experience that happened to me and my husband this weekend, at church. I also want to testify about how good God is.

My husband and I were seated at church and a lady came up us, before church began,  and began to speak over my husband, because she said she had been thinking about him. She then proceeded to say some pretty inappropriate things to me and to him. I stayed silent during her talking, as the Holy Spirit told me to keep quiet. After she was finished, my husband and I looked at each with amazement. He said, “What was that??!!”

I explained to him that for whatever reason she had allowed the enemy to use her to “try” and cause confusion in our relationship. Two things she didn’t take into account. First, my husband and I are best friends, prayer partners, and co-worshippers. Second, we know the Word of God. Immediately, after she left our presence,  we talked about what just happened and the timing the on how it happened. This is how the enemy works. The enemy tries to disturb, distract, and dilute the word of God. The enemy will use different methods to try to get you to question God or more specifically, your relationship with God.

Praise and Worship was just about to begin and our pastor was continuing his amazing series on being filled with the Holy Spirit. During his sermon, my pastor, through the word of God, CONFIRMED everything that what the lady did earlier was out of order. We didn’t have to say a word to her. The Word of God is sharper than any two edged sword. Sometimes, the only thing you tell the enemy is, “IT IS WRITTEN..”

My

Matthew 4:3-11

Amplified Bible (AMP)

And the tempter came and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” But Jesus replied, “It is written and forever remains written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes out of the mouth of God.’”

Then the devil took Him into the holy city [Jerusalem] and placed Him on the pinnacle (highest point) of the temple. And he said [mockingly] to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down; for it is written,

He will command His angels concerning You [to serve, care for, protect and watch over You]’;

and

They will lift you up on their hands,
So that You will not strike Your foot against a stone.’”

Jesus said to him, “On the other hand, it is written and forever remains written, ‘You shall not test the Lord your God.’”

Again, the devil took Him up on a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory [splendor, magnificence, and excellence] of them; and he said to Him, “All these things I will give You, if You fall down and worship me.” 10 Then Jesus said to him, “Go away, Satan! For it is written and forever remains written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.’” 11 Then the devil left Him; and angels came and ministered to Him [bringing Him food and serving Him].

I love you with an amazing and everlasting love. God will go before you and come behind you, to fight your battles. All we have to do is stay in the protected place, which is in His presence.

Seeking, But Not Found…

Good morning, To the Visible Army of God:

Father God, thank you for perfecting our faith. Thank you, God, for not allowing us to quit, on the very precipice of our breakthrough and crossing over point to our higher level. We know and understand that the enemy will try it’s best to distract us, entice us, injure us and even kill us, just to prevent us from going into our next level in God.

I’m blowing the morning trumpet. I’m reminding all the troops to get ready. The fight is not over. Get to your battle stations.

Why did I greeting you as the “Visible Army of God?” Two reasons, first, as sold out Christians, we are the visible front line of defense. We can see the visible enemy and the visible enemy can see us. Second, we must be ready, at all times, for battle. We know that there is an invisible army, eaging war in the heavenly places, but to I’m talking to the ground troops this m.

Even when soldiers are “at ease”, they still know that a war is going on around them. So the same is for us. Even when we are not in fight mode, we must always realize that there is still a war going on around us.

1 Peter 5:8-11

J.B. Phillips New Testament (PHILLIPS)

Resist the devil: you are in God’s hands

8-11 Be self-controlled and vigilant always, for your enemy the devil is always about, prowling like a lion roaring for its prey. Resist him, standing firm in your faith and remember that the strain is the same for all your fellow-Christians in other parts of the world. And after you have borne these sufferings a very little while, God himself (from whom we receive all grace and who has called you to share his eternal splendour through Christ) will make you whole and secure and strong. All power is his for ever and ever, Amen!

I count it an honor and a privilege to serve with you in battle. Continue the good fight. Now is not the time to be pretty or cute. Now is the time for a WAR CRY!! Some mornings require a Pentecostal Praise. This is one of those mornings.

NOW SHOUT!!!!!!

Be Blessed and be Ready,

Rev. Marcia Davis

Pushing Through and Pressing Toward the Mark…

psalm-73-26-large

Good morning, Divine Family:

Our Father always amazes me. This morning I’m a little bit under the weather with a fever and chest congestion. I was beginning to whine and go into full pity mode. Then God spoke to my heart  “Push through and press toward the mark.” Needless to say, I quickly changed my attitude.

Some people may say that when we dont feel well we should be able to complain, fuss and feel sorry for our circumstances. I am a true believer that our attitude(s) play a HUGE role in our latitude. Even though, currently, I dont feel my very best, I still know this fact to be true, because of His stripes, I AM healed! So instead of putting in the atmosphere what is wrong, I will put into the atmosphere what is Right.

Psalm 73:26

New International Version (NIV)

26 My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

I love you all. I continually pray for your strength in the Lord. Be well today and be at peace. God already has “it” taken care of and handled. Just keep your eyes on Him. Dont faint and dont waiver. Lock your eyes on God and dont look away.

Nobody Greater…

Some mornings, I cant wait to wake up, just so I can love on Jesus. Eyes open, arms outstretched with a heart full of praise.

Hallelujah God. There is none like You.

You alone are worthy of all the praise, glory and honor!!!

Psalm 86:8-10

The Message (MSG)

8-10 There’s no one quite like you among the gods, O Lord, and nothing to compare with your works. All the nations you made are on their way, ready to give honor to you, O Lord,  Ready to put your beauty on display,
parading your greatness,
And the great things you do—
God, you’re the one, there’s no one but you!

I love you with an amazing and everlasting love.

Romans 12:8-19

The Message (MSG)

6-8 If you preach, just preach God’s Message, nothing else; if you help, just help, don’t take over; if you teach, stick to your teaching; if you give encouraging guidance, be careful that you don’t get bossy; if you’re put in charge, don’t manipulate; if you’re called to give aid to people in distress, keep your eyes open and be quick to respond; if you work with the disadvantaged, don’t let yourself get irritated with them or depressed by them. Keep a smile on your face.

9-10 Love from the center of who you are; don’t fake it. Run for dear life from evil; hold on for dear life to good. Be good friends who love deeply; practice playing second fiddle.

11-13 Don’t burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame. Be alert servants of the Master, cheerfully expectant. Don’t quit in hard times; pray all the harder. Help needy Christians; be inventive in hospitality.

14-16 Bless your enemies; no cursing under your breath. Laugh with your happy friends when they’re happy; share tears when they’re down. Get along with each other; don’t be stuck-up. Make friends with nobodies; don’t be the great somebody.

17-19 Don’t hit back; discover beauty in everyone. If you’ve got it in you, get along with everybody. Don’t insist on getting even; that’s not for you to do. “I’ll do the judging,” says God. “I’ll take care of it.”

Peace, Blessings, and Abundant Love to All.

It Matters…

love-never-fails

Good morning, Beautiful Ones:

This is what was on my heart this morning, please hear me.

Sometimes in life, as Christians, we want to help change the world and make it a better place. When we look at the state of the world and our country, we question what we can do to make it better.

Making a mark in this world, for Christ, is a lot easier than you may think. Start small. The next time you speak to a person, do it with love. The next time you talk to someone on the phone, do it with love. The next time you’re pumping gas, or getting groceries, or driving, do it all with love.

The love of God radiates through us. We are God’s ambassadors and representatives. The more people that we encounter, they get to experience the Love that we have. Sharing and showing love may seem like a small task, but I promise you….IT MATTERS.

1 Corinthians 13

New International Version (NIV)

13 If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

I love you with an amazing and everlasting love.

Rev. Marcia Davis
