Whenever I teach or preach, at a church or other venue, if my mother is in the audience, I always acknowledge her and thank her for being the first bible I ever knew.

I honor my mother for teaching me about God, before I knew how to read or comprehend the Word of God. As a child, I remember my mom and I kneeling next to my bed, as she taught me the Lord’s Prayer and the “I Pray My Soul To Keep” prayer. 

My mother is an example of someone who is sold out and devoted to God. Even when hardship and struggles come, the first thing my mom will say is, “I don’t serve a weak God. It will be ok.” My mom takes in people that others would close their doors to, because of their past and sometimes current actions. She believes the scripture that Jesus taught:

Good morning, Sons and Daughters of Creation:

This morning my spirit is trembling. Not out of fear but out of utter reverence for the King of Glory. The sheer power of just a fragment of God’s glory leaves me speechless. 

O God, how great is your majesty. How fragrant is your presence. I would love to sit at your feet and sing my praises over you. May my life be a living worship sacrifice to you. 

This is the day the Lord has made, Saints!!!!

Let Us Rejoice and be glad in it!

Your problems, concerns, fears and worries are no match for God. Hand them over. Let them go and tell the Lord, “Thank You.”

Trust the outcome. Trust God. Believe God.

This morning, I truly just want to worship on God.

Good morning, Beautiful Lights of God’s Love:

It’s been raining here in Georgia for what seems like forever. All this rain has a tendency to dampen a person’s spirit. I motivate and encourage myself by starting my day focused on the goodness of God.

Today, for me, is Magnificent Monday. Let me list just a few of my many blessings, one by one, that happened just in the last two hours: I woke up this morning. I opened my eyes to the most beautiful man I have ever known. He has a heart for God, humankind and me. We were able to have our choice of clothes to wear. We were able to pack a lunch for today and stop for coffee. We were able to get into vehicles. Bless God, we both made it to work with no hurt, harm or danger coming near us. I am able to sit in our break room, before my work day starts, and write this message to encourage you.

I could literally list a thousand reasons to tell God, “Thank You,” just for today alone.

I encourage you to continue to pour your praises out on God. So many things are easy to take for granted until they are gone. Count each blessing one by one.

Have a Magnificent Monday and remember that I love you with an amazing and everlasting love.

Saints,

Can you imagine that wonderful day when we get to see Jesus face to face. Can you fathom the sheer power and glory of being in the presence of the Lion of Judah, the Bright and Morning Star? I’m getting excited just thinking about it.

The words I want to hear the most are, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” I want to know that the life I lived here on this earth brought glory and honor to the Kingdom of God.

²² “Also the one who had the two talents came forward, saying, ‘Master, you entrusted two talents to me. See, I have [made a profit and] gained two more talents.’ ²³ His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. I know that some days were not my best days. I know that some seasons of my life Grace and Mercy were working overtime on my behalf. Once I realized that my life was not my own then I began to understand my purpose as a Christian.

Ask God everyday to use you for his glory. Ask the Holy Spirit to make clear to you how to shine bright and change lives. You are here for a reason. Run your race well.

Father God, our prayer today is to please burn everything away from us that is not like you. May we come out as pure as gold. Whatever is not like your character and likeness, purge it from us, Lord. May your manifested greatness be visible in our lives.

Good morning, Highly Favored Ones:

This morning, I greet you with a spirit of joy and thankfulness. I’m praising and blessing God not for the answered prayers, not for the blessings, but I’m praising and magnifying God simply because of who God Is!!!

I feel like running, dancing, and shouting all because of the magnificence of who God Is.

⁸ “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Father, we do give you praise today and every day. Not for what you have done, but simply because of who you are. May our lives be totally submitted to you. May your manifested kingdom come and rest here on earth. Let your will be done on earth as it has been spoken, declared, and decreed in heaven. 

Let’s praise God church. Open your mouth and give God the glory that is due his name.

I greet you all, as you are the sparkle in God’s eye. Never allow anyone or anything to make you forget your royalty and identity in the Kingdom of God. I just felt led to remind you of who you are…

The image above is of one of my favorite figurines by Willow Tree that I have in my home. It is called, “Surrounded by Love.” I catch myself just holding it and looking at her. 

Over the last five weeks, I have been recuperating, at home, from having a hysterectomy. Thankfully, because my home is a place where God and Love dwells, my healing has been swift and peaceful. I thank God that I have been able to continue working remotely from my home without having to take too much time off of work. 

I’m thankful that in my home it feels like there are arms of love wrapped around me. I’m grateful that God has surrounded me with family and friends that truly do care for me. 

I lift my hands to God and say, “Thank You.”

I walk through the rooms of my home, touching the walls, doors, furniture, floors, appliances and windows thanking them for their part my healing and care. I learned a long time ago that saying, “Thank You” releases so many good things into the atmosphere.

No, surgery was not fun, but it was necessary. I’m thankful that I was able to have the surgery. I’m thankful to the wonderful doctor’s, nurses, medical support staff and modern medicine that participated in my care.

I’m thankful for my husband who stood by my side, holding my hand, and some days literally almost carrying me. I thank God that the man I love knows my heart song so well. I love you, man of God. 

Today, whether you need healing for your mind, body or soul, I stand with you in faith and proclaim to you that God is a Healer. I’m not telling you this because I heard it from someone else. I’m telling you that over the course of my lifetime, God has healed my body, my mind, and my soul. If he can do it for someone as unworthy as me, I know he will do it for someone as precious as you. Just ask, in faith and watch God move….

Good morning, Friends of God:

A few days ago, I was watching a video on YouTube. The video was about weight loss. The young lady that made the video said something that quickened the spirit within me. She stated that she does not say that she, “Lost Weight.” Rather she says that she, “Released the weight.” She came to peace with the fact that something she was holding on to was not allowing her to be at her highest good. 

In the same way, there are many of us that need to lovingly release what may be weighing us down. The writer of Hebrews shares this with us:

The Race of Faith

12 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, ² looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

This is what I plan on doing before the weekend is out. I am going to write down everything that I need to release from my life on small pieces of paper.  I’m going to tie the those notes to some balloons. Before I release the balloons, I will say a prayer thanking the “weights” for their time in my life. I will ask God to continue to help me work in unison with Him to proceed with my healing, restoration and divine wholeness. (Note: I just read that there are many laws against releasing balloons into the air, as they may cause harm to wildlife. I love animals too much to cause them any harm. I will find another ceremonial way to “Release.”)

May you also create a ceremony of release for whatever may be “weighing” you down. I stand in agreement and love with you. I believe so much in the completion of the good work God began in you.

Good morning, Friends of God:

This morning’s devotional is about the Altar of God. The altar has so many purposes in our relationship and fellowship with God.

If you are bringing a gift to God, the altar is your blessing place. If you are breaking bread, through Holy Communion, it is a place of remembrance. If you are going to the altar due to a sickness, it is a place of healing. If you are going to the altar to leave your problems, cares, sins and burdens it is a place of restoration and forgiveness. If you are at the altar just to love on God and say, “Thank You, I Love You,” then it is a place of worship. 

In the Old Testament, the altar was the place where God use to dwell in the temple. The altar of God was in the Holy of Holies. However, now the dwelling place of God is within us, if we invite Him/It to come into our heart.

²⁰ Listen! I am standing and knocking at your door. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in and we will eat together.

What are you bringing to the Altar of God this morning? Bring it in faith, knowing that God has already made a place for you. There is plenty of room at the Altar. Come now…

I truly do Love you with an amazing and everlasting love. May your mind, body, soul and spirit be in perfect unison with God.
