If you have ever been stuck, trapped, or caught and couldn’t break free, it is a terrible feeling. Once freed, there is an immediate since of gratitude and thankfulness. You want every chance to tell people about your experience and how you were freed.

This is exactly how I felt when I truly gave my life over to Christ. Even though I accepted Jesus Christ, as my Lord and Savior, at a very young age, it wasnt until years later that I fully accepted and walked in my salvation. I did not truly understand the gift and power that I possessed, until I began learning and studying the Word of God.

This may be a controversial statement, but it is MY TRUTH.  I believe that there is a difference in the quality of a person’s life once they Accept and Walk in their salvation. What are you saying Marcia?

What I’m saying is that it takes time for most people to understand the fullness of salvation. It takes time of studying and having intimate relationship and fellowship, with Christ, to FULLY grasp what salvation has done. With salvation comes power, authority, dominion and a great inheritance. The only way most people find out these things is by spending quality time with God, by chasing after God.

It’s like having the winning lottery ticket in your pocket but not realizing you are the winner. You will not benefit from the ticket and all it has to offer, until you redeem the ticket and receive the prize. Yes, you have already won, but you haven’t taken advantage of being a winner. (No, I am not promoting gambling. This is just an analogy)

Marriage is a covenant between a man and a woman. A Christian marriage is a covenant between a man, a woman and God. 

When my husband and I got engaged, I began reading the book, “Power of a Praying Wife,” by Stormie Omartin. The book gave me so much insight into the biblical, spiritual, physical and emotional role of a wife. It helped me understand why my role is so important to my husband. I truly believe that being a wife is a calling. I believe, with all my heart, that I was called to be my husband’s wife. 

There is also a book for the husbands entitled, “Power of a Praying Husband.” The book is also written by Stormie, but her husband Michael wrote the Forward section of the book. 

No matter where you are in your marital journey, I would recommend that you and your spouse, or spouse to be, read these books. Make it a time of daily or weekly devotion with each other. Allow the books to facilitate prayer, conversation, and learning. I also recommend that you each start a journal to document your journey together.

May God continue to bless your marriage and may you always keep each other first. Be vigilant in loving, respecting, honoring and protecting each other. Ask God to help you to continue to learn each other and grow. Nothing should come before your spouse, except for God.

One of my favorite contemporary Christian musicians is Chris Tomlin. He has a voice that is so pure. When he worships, it takes my spirit to another level. 

My favorite songs by Chris is entitled, “Amazing Grace, My Chains Are Gone.” The scripture to support God’s grace releasing us from our chains can be found in Psalm 107.

God is our source and a strength. Everything that we need begins and ends with God. Cast your cares onto God. Free your hands from worries and use them instead to praise and magnify God.

Seek first and put the Kingdom of God at the top of your list. Everything else you desire, as long as it lines up with the will of God, will be given to you as well.

It’s already alright.

Go in peace, while serving the Lord.

Good morning, Beautiful Lights of God:

Today, tomorrow, and every day to come, I want you all to be proud and bold, in Christ. You are shinning bright, with the calling and giftings that God has placed in and on your life. 

God did not give us all the same calling or gifts. No gift is less or greater than the other. Perfect, make perfect, the gift and calling that God has placed in your care. Work in unison with other members of the body of Christ. 

The Apostle Paul, in letter to the Corinthians, explains how the body of Christ is to work together in unison rather than competition. Paul explains that we are all operating under the anointing of same Holy Spirit.

⁴ There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but they all come from the same Spirit. ⁵ There are different ways to serve the same Lord, ⁶ and we can each do different things. Yet the same God works in all of us and helps us in everything we do.

⁷ The Spirit has given each of us a special way of serving others. ⁸ Some of us can speak with wisdom, while others can speak with knowledge, but these gifts come from the same Spirit. ⁹ To others the Spirit has given great faith or the power to heal the sick ¹⁰ or the power to work mighty miracles. Some of us are prophets, and some of us recognize when God’s Spirit is present.  Others can speak different kinds of languages, and still others can tell what these languages mean. ¹¹ But it is the Spirit who does all this and decides which gifts to give to each of us.

One Body with Many Parts

But God’s Spirit baptized each of us and made us part of the body of Christ. Now we each drink from that same Spirit. ¹⁴ Our bodies don’t have just one part. They have many parts.

We all need each other and the world needs us. There is plenty of room at the Table. It’s not about us, it’s about Jesus. Amen.

Good morning, Saints of the Most High God:

Allow me to apologize for not writing for a couple of days. My body was busy trying to heal and get better. Praise God, I am back and better than ever. 

Today, I want to give thanks and praise to a powerful and faithful Christian Soldier for the Lord, Dr. Billy Graham. Dr. Graham died yesterday at the age of 99. All of my life the name of Dr. Graham was synonymous with a passion for saving and rescuing souls from the enemy’s hand. 

I can only imagine the greeting he received, in heaven, as all of those souls, that have gone on before him, met him and said, “Thank You, because of your ministry, I am here.”

So today’s worship video is dedicated to Dr. Graham. Thank you, Dr. Graham, for changing and touching so many lives and souls.

Whenever I teach or preach, at a church or other venue, if my mother is in the audience, I always acknowledge her and thank her for being the first bible I ever knew.

I honor my mother for teaching me about God, before I knew how to read or comprehend the Word of God. As a child, I remember my mom and I kneeling next to my bed, as she taught me the Lord’s Prayer and the “I Pray My Soul To Keep” prayer. 

My mother is an example of someone who is sold out and devoted to God. Even when hardship and struggles come, the first thing my mom will say is, “I don’t serve a weak God. It will be ok.” My mom takes in people that others would close their doors to, because of their past and sometimes current actions. She believes the scripture that Jesus taught:

The Final Judgment

Good morning, Sons and Daughters of Creation:

This morning my spirit is trembling. Not out of fear but out of utter reverence for the King of Glory. The sheer power of just a fragment of God’s glory leaves me speechless. 

O God, how great is your majesty. How fragrant is your presence. I would love to sit at your feet and sing my praises over you. May my life be a living worship sacrifice to you. 

This is the day the Lord has made, Saints!!!!

Let Us Rejoice and be glad in it!

Your problems, concerns, fears and worries are no match for God. Hand them over. Let them go and tell the Lord, “Thank You.”

Trust the outcome. Trust God. Believe God.

This morning, I truly just want to worship on God.

Good morning, Beautiful Lights of God’s Love:

It’s been raining here in Georgia for what seems like forever. All this rain has a tendency to dampen a person’s spirit. I motivate and encourage myself by starting my day focused on the goodness of God.

Today, for me, is Magnificent Monday. Let me list just a few of my many blessings, one by one, that happened just in the last two hours: I woke up this morning. I opened my eyes to the most beautiful man I have ever known. He has a heart for God, humankind and me. We were able to have our choice of clothes to wear. We were able to pack a lunch for today and stop for coffee. We were able to get into vehicles. Bless God, we both made it to work with no hurt, harm or danger coming near us. I am able to sit in our break room, before my work day starts, and write this message to encourage you.

I could literally list a thousand reasons to tell God, “Thank You,” just for today alone.

I encourage you to continue to pour your praises out on God. So many things are easy to take for granted until they are gone. Count each blessing one by one.

Have a Magnificent Monday and remember that I love you with an amazing and everlasting love.
