Good morning, Saints of God:
I come to you to proclaim and remind you that God’s love for you is intentional and purposeful.
So many times the free-will actions of men get blamed on God, but God truly does want the very best for you. Read below as the writer of Lamentations understands God’s love.
Lamentations 3:18-24
Contemporary English Version (CEV)
18 I tell myself, “I am finished!
I can’t count on the Lord
to do anything for me.”
19 Just thinking of my troubles
and my lonely wandering
makes me miserable.
20 That’s all I ever think about,
and I am depressed.
21 Then I remember something
that fills me with hope.
22 The Lord’s kindness never fails!
If he had not been merciful,
we would have been destroyed.
23 The Lord can always be trusted
to show mercy each morning.
24 Deep in my heart I say,
“The Lord is all I need;
I can depend on him!”
God is good and his mercy does endure forever. If your heart is hardened toward God, let him know. Ask him to soften your heart so that you may have an intimate, personal and intentional relationship with Him.
I love you with an amazing and everlasting love.
