Bridge of Light….

img_6233

Greetings, Beloved Family:

I pray that your heart and mind are focused on God. During this time in our communities, country and world, there is so much happening. One thing I hope we understand, as a people, is that only love can fix certain problems.

When we have gotten in our own way and attempt to do things in the way of the world, the result is that we compound the problem.

Love is the great connector. Only love can be the stepping stone across the bridge to aide in understanding the situation.

Why does love open doors and build bridges? Because love takes our agenda out of the way. Love is patient, kind, long-suffering and so many other characteristics that call for us to put down our weapons of words, thoughts and actions.

Ask God for a renewed heart that is filled with the love of his heart and mind. Step out on faith and walk the bridge of light that is lined with true agape love.

May your footprints lead others to the path of love. Go in peace, while praising and serving the Lord.

Even When It Hurts…

1-John-4-19

Good morning, Family:

I’m going to jump right in to the devotional this morning. Love, and the act of showing love, can sometimes be one of the hardest things to do. Love is easy when someone shows you love. On the other hand, love can feel like the hardest action to demonstrate,  when your heart is hurting.

How do we love through pain? How do we love in the face of hurt? How do we live a life of charity, when charity is very last thing on our mind? We must cast our cares at the feet of Jesus. We must pray for God to surround us with peace and patience. We must ask to see the situation or person through the eyes of God.

Trust me, I know the concept of “turning the other cheek” is one of bible passages we sometimes would like to forget. Today is that day for me, so this message is just as much for me as it is for everyone else. (As I stated before, I am only a vessel through which the Holy Spirit writes. I say, “ouch or that was for me” most of the time too).

The Master’s Call…

speak-lord

Good morning, Family:

I pray your strength and faithfulness in the Lord. As Christian, above all else, our first relationship is with the Lord. May we always be able to hear the Master’s Call.

Go in peace, while praising and serving the Lord, with obedience and faithfulness.

All of Me…

20200706_095757Good morning, Family:

In this time of so many changes, one thing stays the same. We serve an awesome and amazing God. The Lover of our Soul is forever faithful. Can we say the same of ourselves? Are we forever faithful to God?

Do you feel overwhelmed, like you are carrying the world on your shoulders? Do you feel anxious, worried, or stressed out? Give it all to God. Stand up or kneel down. Raise your hands and open your mouth and pray this prayer:

Father, rescue me from me. I tried to do so much in my own strength. I’m sorry for not coming to you earlier and asking for help. I’m sorry for not trusting you completely to be God, all by yourself. Forgive me, Lord. Help me to lay my cares, fears, broken relationships, and so much more, at your feet. You have all of my heart, Lord. I surrender all to you. Have your way in my life. In the precious and everlasting name, blood and power of Jesus, the Christ. Amen

May the peace of God rest, rule and abide with you always. Stay close to the Throne Room.

Smile With Your Eyes…

romans-12-1-2

Good morning, Faithful Family:

What a great day in the Lord. I understand that these current days haven’t been easy or convenient for any of us. Wear a mask, sanitize your hands, stay six feet apart and last but not least, if you are sick, Stay Home. All of those steps are extremely important for the health, safety and welfare of our neighborhoods, towns, states and nation.

More than anything, people want a sense of Hope? As Christians, how can we provide hope? Smile with your eyes. Smile with your heart. Even though we cannot tough each other, we can still show

In the movie Eat, Pray, Love with Julie Roberts, she spent time in Bali with the town’s spiritual leader by the name of Katut. He was trying to teach her how to meditate. He said you have to smile everywhere, even with your liver. What he was saying to “Liz” is that she should radiate love with her entire body.

I know some days may be tough, but God is depending on us to be his servants of love.

Will you sign up for the Love Draft? Can Jesus count on you, on me?

Romans 12:1-2

New International Version (NIV)

A Living Sacrifice

12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Go in peace, while praising and serving the Lord.

You Are Loved…

20200629_085425

Good morning, Precious and Blessed Family:

I love you all with the purest and deepest love of our Lord, Jesus the Christ. We are loved by God on a level that is mindblowing.

There is no love that is comparable to the love of the Lord.

John 3:16-17

New International Version (NIV)

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

May the love of God take your breath away today and blow your mind. The more you look for the love of God, the more you will find it. You are precious and made perfect through Love’s perfect sacrifice on Calvary.

Love always,

Rev. Marcia Davis

Seal It Closed..

Preheating_plate_2

Good morning, Precious Family:

I pray you are all abiding in the perfect peace and shadow of the Almighty God that we joyfully serve. Today, I woke up feeling as if something had broken free in Spirit realm.

For the first time in a while, I woke up and my heart was not heavy. Yesterday, I did some warfare in the Spirit. After I finished, I sealed the prayer with wording I had never spoken before, but the Holy Spirit led me to say them.

Yesterday, I could discern that something dark was trying to surround me. I prayed over my family and commanded “every door that the enemy was trying to come through be closed and sealed with the Blood of Jesus.”

The Holy Spirit showed me the image of a silver metal door being closed and it being sealed around every inch with the Blood of Jesus. The Blood looked like an invisible blow-torch slowly melting the metal and sealing the door closed. Spirit led me to keep on saying the phrase with authority and assurance, until I felt released to stop praying.

Ephesians 6:10-18

(NIV)

The Armor of God

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

Family, never stop praying. Always be ready to go to battle. Always be ready to give an answer.

Your fellow soldier,

Rev. Marcia Davis

Love Can Build a Bridge…

love-is-a-bridge-between-you-and-everything-quote-1

Good morning, Beautiful Family:

I pray for all of you daily. I pray that your hearts would begin the healing process. My biggest prayer is that love would take the place of every other negative emotion.

Love is the most powerful force in the Universe. All that is needed is a willingness to open our heart.

Ephesians 4:3-4

Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called.

May we, as Christians, set the example for the world to see what love is all about.

Let us walk the bridge to the other side,

Rev. Marcia Davis

Time of Refreshing…

Good morning, Family:

I pray you are well and positioned in a place where God can speak to your heart.

During this season, the heart of man is being exposed. May we be vulnerable, as a global nation, to the surgical hands of the Holy Spirit. May we willingly climb onto God’s operating table.

1 John 1:5-10

New International Version (NIV)

Light and Darkness, Sin and Forgiveness

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all[a] sin.

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

May the peace of the Lord rest, rule and abide with you always.
