Good morning, Precious and Divine Family:
I greet you with love and joy, in the Lord, this morning. I woke up to the Lord bringing up the question, “Am I my brother’s keeper?” Family, the answer is a resounding YES!
Unlike Cain and Abel, we have a responsibility to the wellbeing of our brothers and sisters. We dont have to look alike to be family. We dont have to talk alike to be connected. We dont have to agree on everything, but we do have to walk in love.
Our responsibility, as Christians (being and walking in the image and example of Christ), is to love one another. We are responsible for our brothers and sisters. Love is the greatest command.
Genesis 4:8-10
New King James Version
8 Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him.
9 Then the Lord said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?”
He said, “I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?”
10 And He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground.
