The Name Above Every Name!!!

Good morning, Family:

It’s 4:16am Tuesday morning. I just finished fixing my husband’s lunch and making sure he is good for the day. Now, I’m at my kitchen table drinking my coffee, being still and seeking God, waiting for God to inspire me with today’s devotional. God is always faithful.

Family, there is a name above every name that causes demons to tremble and causes everything above the earth and below the earth to bow with the  angels and elders and cry, Holy, Holy, Holy! There is Power, Wonder Working POWER in the name of Jesus.

One of the ways we glorify God is through music. Music that glorifies God is color blind. When God hears praises go up to heaven, He reacts the same way. It doesn’t matter is you are from the mountains of Tennessee or the hills of Virginia. You could be from the coast of Africa or the beautiful and timeless areas of Europe. Whether you grew up eating fried chicken or sushi, the praises of God still changes the atmosphere. There is a name that is above every name.

Philippians 2:9-11

King James Version (KJV)

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Glorify God this morning, family. Open your mouth and set the atmosphere and tone for your day.

Lord God, we bless you this morning and call you Holy. There is none like you Jesus. You are exalted and holy. We glorify you and lie prostrate in the presence of your holiness. Go with us today as we live lives that magnify your awesome and life changing power. With hands lifted up, I sacrifice my will on your alter, today Lord. Allow my life to be a sweet fragrant offering. You deserve all the glory. I love you, Lord.

Greater!!

Good morning, Beautiful Saints of God:

I greet you this morning with a hug, high-5, and first bump. LOL

This weekend was a great weekend. I am filled with thankfulness that I have three callings/careers that I have the opportunity to flow in on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

My husband and I met with another couple, this weekend, that is to be married. They hired me to officiate their wedding. As a part of the pre wedding package, my husband and I meet with the couples to counsel and offer consulting services. We love so much hearing their stories of how they met and fell in love. We love being able to offer counseling and encouragement, as they prepare to face the wonderful sacred journey called Marriage.

As an employee with an amazing company and an entrepreneur of my own company and ministry, I am always amazed at how great God is. I’m not surprised, but I am always in a state of joyful amazement.

As believers, we are called to be a light in this world. We come up against a lot of warfare on a daily basis, but the Word of God tells us that the One who lives inside of us is greater than the enemy that is in the world.

I encourage each of us to continually pray and keep on living a glorious light-filled life.

1 John 4:4-6

The Message (MSG)

4-6 My dear children, you come from God and belong to God. You have already won a big victory over those false teachers, for the Spirit in you is far stronger than anything in the world. These people belong to the Christ-denying world. They talk the world’s language and the world eats it up. But we come from God and belong to God. Anyone who knows God understands us and listens. The person who has nothing to do with God will, of course, not listen to us. This is another test for telling the Spirit of Truth from the spirit of deception.

I love you with the everlasting and unchanging love of our Lord and Redeeming Savior, Jesus Christ.

Go in peace while faithfully and joyfully serving the Lord.

Words of Jesus in Red…

famous-bible-verses-john-3-16-r1

Good morning, Family:

I love you. I love you. I love you.

I’m so thankful for each of you and I pray for you continually.

I pray that every day, that you and I are allowed to be on this side of heaven, that you grow stronger and more mature in Christ Jesus. May the Lord’s presence continue to increase and shine from you more each day.

I encourage you to continue to talk to God one on one. Also it is important to fellowship with other mature believers, so that we may sharpen each other’s swords. Surround yourself with uplifting music, TV, social media and people, so that you stay encouraged and effective.

Finally, study the word of God for yourself. Get a translation that is easy for you to understand and comprehend, so that you may know the heart, mind and Spirit of God.

Study what Jesus said and taught in the scriptures. Some versions of the New Testament will have the words that Jesus taught and spoke highlighted in red. His heart jumps off the page.

I challenge you to read through a version of the bible that has the words of Jesus in red. Read all of red words and highlight them. Then you will better understand the heart and spirit of His perfect love for us. The words in red are life changing and transforming.

Enjoy today’s worship video by Crowder, as he sings of how the words of Jesus in red changed his life forever.

Go in peace, while praising and serving the Lord. Live and walk out what you read and learned. Allow the word of God to come to life through you.

Acceptable Living…

Good morning, Amazing Family:

How grateful I am for each of you. As children of God, I know we want God to be pleased with how we live our life. At least, I know that I do.

When I first began taking my spiritual journey seriously, many years ago, I would wake up each morning and say these words, “ I love you, Lord. Thank you for giving me one more day to live for you. Tell me, Lord, how can I love on YOU today? Show me how to make you smile.

Psalm 19 lets me know that I was not the first person to want to worship the Lord with my whole life.

Psalm 19

Living Bible (TLB)

19 The heavens are telling the glory of God; they are a marvelous display of his craftsmanship. Day and night they keep on telling about God. 3-4 Without a sound or word, silent in the skies, their message reaches out to all the world. The sun lives in the heavens where God placed it and moves out across the skies as radiant as a bridegroom going to his wedding,* or as joyous as an athlete looking forward to a race! The sun crosses the heavens from end to end, and nothing can hide from its heat.

7-8 God’s laws are perfect. They protect us, make us wise, and give us joy and light. God’s laws are pure, eternal, just. 10 They are more desirable than gold. They are sweeter than honey dripping from a honeycomb. 11 For they warn us away from harm and give success to those who obey them.

12 But how can I ever know what sins are lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults. 13 And keep me from deliberate wrongs; help me to stop doing them. Only then can I be free of guilt and innocent of some great crime.

14 May my spoken words and unspoken thoughts be pleasing even to you, O Lord my Rock and my Redeemer.

Today’s worship video by Steven Curtis Chapman falls in line with the same message. Lord, please allow your Love to dictate how I live my life for you. Perfect Love, you take over.

Go in peace and love, while joyfully serving the Lord.

In His Amazing Love,

Kindred Holy Spirit…

Good morning, Family:

Have you ever met a person who had the presence of the Lord on them and they could sense the same with you?

You recognized that the love they are emanating is a love that reflects the heart and personality of God.

The only reason we can know a person’s heart and spirit is because we ourselves have spent intimate time with God and we know what the presence of God’s Spirit feels like.

1 John 4:1

English Standard Version (ESV)

Test the Spirits

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.

May God be with you always. May we each continue to grow into the fullness of all that God has predestined for us.

I encourage us all to drink from everlasting waters that come from a relationship with Christ. Be ever mindful of how you represent the Gospel.

Go in peace, while praising and serving the Lord.

You Are Holy…

Good morning, Family:

Happy Friday!!!

Let’s greet the Lord with this scripture today:

Psalm 99

New International Version (NIV)

The Lord reigns,

    let the nations tremble;
he sits enthroned between the cherubim,
    let the earth shake.
Great is the Lord in Zion;
    he is exalted over all the nations.
Let them praise your great and awesome name—
    he is holy.

The King is mighty, he loves justice—
    you have established equity;
in Jacob you have done
    what is just and right.
Exalt the Lord our God
    and worship at his footstool;
    he is holy.

Moses and Aaron were among his priests,
    Samuel was among those who called on his name;
they called on the Lord
    and he answered them.
He spoke to them from the pillar of cloud;
    they kept his statutes and the decrees he gave them.

Lord our God,
    you answered them;
you were to Israel a forgiving God,
    though you punished their misdeeds.
Exalt the Lord our God
    and worship at his holy mountain,
    for the Lord our God is holy.

Go in peace, while praising and joyfully serving the Lord. May God watch over you and give you peace, in the name of God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit, Amen.
