Greetings, Precious Family:

May the Peace of the Lord be with you.

Family, as this Friday evening grows quiet, our hearts settle into a sacred stillness. In moments like this, the deepest prayer often rises gently within us: Lord, give me a heart like Yours. Like CeCe Winans so beautifully sings in A Heart Like Yours, this is more than a lyric — it is a daily surrender.


A Heart That Loves Deeply
Jesus loves without condition. He reaches for the broken, extends grace to the undeserving, and sees potential where others see flaws. A heart like His chooses compassion over criticism and grace over offense.


A Heart That Forgives Freely
Even in suffering, Jesus forgave. To carry His heart means releasing bitterness and trusting God with what hurt us. Forgiveness keeps our hearts tender and free.


A Heart That Obeys Humbly
Jesus lived to do the Father’s will. A heart like His says, “Not my will, but Yours be done,” even when obedience costs something. It is a heart shaped by surrender and strengthened in prayer.


Tonight, as the day closes, let this be our quiet pursuit — not perfection, but transformation.
“Lord, soften what has hardened in me. Remove what is not like You. Teach me to love, forgive, and serve as You do. Give me a heart like Yours.”

May we wake tomorrow still burning with this desire.

Greetings, Precious Family:

May the Peace of the Lord be with you.

Family, we stand in the radiant hope Christ secured for us through His triumphant resurrection. The tomb is still empty. The victory is still complete. The promise is still alive.

Yet so often, after the celebration fades and Resurrection Sunday becomes a memory, life attempts to pull us back into routine. The excitement softens. The fire dims. The urgency weakens.

But this year, let it be different.
The resurrection was never meant to be a moment—it was meant to be a lifestyle. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is the power that sustains our hope, fuels our passion, and anchors our faith. We were redeemed at no cost to us, but at great cost to Him. And that redemption was not simply to save us from something—it was to bring us into something: a loving, intimate relationship with our Father.

Overflowing hope does not fade after a holiday. It does not depend on emotion. It is sustained by connection.


So let us stay plugged in.
Let us remain vigilant.
Let us pursue Christ intentionally.
Hope is not seasonal.
Redemption is not temporary.
Resurrection life is daily.


May we continue to burn with zeal—not out of obligation, but out of gratitude. Not out of routine, but out of relationship.

Let Us Pray

Spirit of the Living God, we stand before You grateful for the finished work of Christ and the power of His resurrection. Thank You for redeeming us at no cost to us, because You desired a loving and intimate relationship with us. Fill us, Lord, as Your Word says in Romans 15:13. Fill us with all joy and peace as we trust in You. Let our trust be unwavering and our pursuit be intentional. We lift this prayer to you in the name of our Risen Redeemer, Christ Jesus.

Greetings, Precious Family:

May the Peace of the Lord be with you.

Precious Spirit of the Living God,

I come before You with a heart overflowing with gratitude. Thank You for every blessing You have poured into my life—both the ones I see and the ones I do not even realize. Thank You for Your favor that opens doors no one can shut, for making ways out of no ways, and for going before me in every season.

Lord, thank You for Your peace—the peace that surpasses all understanding. When storms rise and uncertainty tries to settle in, Your peace steadies my heart and reminds me that You are in control.

Thank You for Your divine protection. You have shielded me from dangers seen and unseen. You have covered my family, guarded my steps, and kept me safe through trials I didn’t even know I was facing. I am grateful.

Thank You for Your unfailing love. Your love restores what was broken, lifts what was heavy, and fills empty places within me. When I was weak, You were strong. When I felt lost, You drew me close.

Father, thank You for restoration and healing—healing in my body, healing in my mind, healing in my spirit. Thank You for restoring joy, restoring hope, restoring relationships, and restoring dreams.

I do not take Your goodness for granted. Every good and perfect gift comes from You. My heart says thank You. My life says thank You. My praise says thank You, Lord.

I love You, Lord.

Day 96/97 of 365: Phase One Complete, Now Phase Two…

Greetings, Precious Family:

May the Peace of the Lord be with you always.

Family, we stand in the sacred echo of Resurrection Sunday. The stone has been rolled away. The grave has been conquered. Christ has fulfilled Phase One of His divine mission—He came, He suffered, He died, and He rose again in victory.


Now we live in what we might call Phase Two. Hebrews 10:11–18 reminds us that under the old covenant, priests stood daily, offering the same sacrifices again and again—sacrifices that could never fully take away sins. But Christ, after offering one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God. His work of atonement is finished. “For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified” (Hebrews 10:14).


He sat down because the sacrifice was complete. Phase One is complete. Phase Two is our response.


Phase Two is not about religious performance—attending church out of habit, wearing certain clothes, or checking spiritual boxes. It is about sanctification. It is about allowing the finished work of Christ to transform us from the inside out.

Hebrews tells us that God now writes His laws on our hearts and places them in our minds. This is deeply personal. This is relational. This is divine intimacy.

Christ Jesus did His part fully and perfectly.
Now it is up to us to cooperate with the Holy Spirit in perfecting our holiness—not striving to earn salvation, but living in gratitude because salvation has already been secured.

Sanctification is not about impressing people; it is about aligning our hearts with heaven. It is about making our connection to the Divine our highest priority.


It means choosing prayer when distraction calls. Choosing forgiveness when offense tempts us. Choosing obedience when convenience whispers otherwise. Choosing Christ daily.


Phase Two is about cultivating a personal relationship with Jesus—learning His voice, adopting His mindset, and reflecting His character. Because of His sacrifice, our sins are remembered no more. Because of His resurrection, we now have access. Because He sat down, we can stand up and walk in newness of life.


The cross was His assignment. Transformation is ours. Let us not waste what He finished. Let us lean into sanctification, not out of obligation, but out of love. The tomb is empty. The sacrifice is complete. The invitation is open. Now we live it.

Greetings, Precious Family:

May the Peace of the Lord be with you.

Today’s devotional is dedicated to the sacred silence of the work Jesus did on the cross. Tomorrow morning, the stone will be rolled away and the promise will be fulfilled.

Matthew’s Gospel is the only writer of the scripture account below. I want us to truly hear what is being said.

On the day of Jesus’ resurrection this is Matthew’s account.

Scripture Passage of the Day

Matthew 27:50-54
New International Version


50 And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.

51 At that moment, the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.

The earth shook, the rocks split 52 and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. 53 They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and[a] went into the holy city and appeared to many people.

54 When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!”

Resurrection Prayer

Father of Glory and Majesty,
when Your Son gave up His spirit,
the veil was torn, the earth trembled,
and the rocks split beneath the weight of holy love. You shook creation itself to proclaim what heaven already knew…
that Jesus is Lord!!!

Lord Jesus, in that sacred moment when darkness covered the land and Your sacrifice was complete, the barrier between God and humanity was torn in two. No more separation. No more distance. Your blood opened the way.


As the earth quaked and the tombs were opened, You declared that death would not have the final word. The graves released their hold. The holy ones were raised. Life broke forth, where silence once reigned.


Lord God of Resurrection power,
shake the hardened places in our hearts.
Split the rocks of fear, pride, and unbelief. Tear the veils we have allowed to hang between us and You. Wherever something in us feels buried, sealed, and forgotten, Lord speak resurrection.


Where our hope has lain in a tomb, call it forth. Where our faith feels shaken, let it be shaken into awakening. And like the centurion who stood in awe and confessed, “Surely He was the Son of God,” bring us to our knees in reverent surrender.


Let every trembling place in our lives become testimony. You are the God who tears veils, who shakes the earth, who opens graves, and who brings life from death. We stand in holy awe. We stand in gratitude. We stand in resurrecting hope. In the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, our crucified and RISEN King.

Hallelujah, Lord. You are worthy of all glory, honor, and praise!!!

47 When some of those standing there heard this, they said, “He’s calling Elijah.”

At the Foot of the Cross

Spirit of the Living God:

On this solemn day, we stand in the shadow of the cross. From noon until three, darkness covered the land, and we remember the weight of that hour —the suffering, the silence, the sorrow. Lord Jesus, You cried out, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” In Your anguish, You entered into the deepest pain of humanity —our grief, our sin, our loneliness, our separation.  You were mocked.  You were offered vinegar for Your thirst.  You were misunderstood and abandoned. And yet, You remained.When You cried out again and gave up Your spirit,it was not defeat — it was surrender.
Not weakness — but perfect love.

On this Good Friday,
we confess that it was our sin that held You there.
Yet it was Your mercy that kept You there.

Teach us to sit in the darkness without losing hope.
Teach us to trust when we do not understand.
Teach us to love with sacrifice and humility.

As we remember Your cross,
soften our hearts.
Break our pride.
Renew our gratitude.

May we never rush past this holy sorrow.
May we feel the weight of Your sacrifice
and the depth of Your grace.

Thank You, Jesus, for the cross.
Thank You for Your obedience.

Holy Thursday Prayer

Spirit of the Living God;

On this sacred night, we remember the holy meal Your Son shared with His disciples.
In the quiet of the upper room, bread was broken and the cup was blessed.
Love was poured out before blood was shed.
Service was shown before sacrifice was completed.

Lord Jesus,
On the night You were betrayed,
You gave us Yourself.
In simple bread and humble wine,
You offered the mystery of Your Body and Blood.
Teach us to receive this gift with awe,
gratitude, and faithful hearts.

As You knelt to wash the feet of Your friends,
wash us clean of pride and selfishness.
Give us the grace to serve one another with tenderness and humility.
May we love not only in word,
but in action and truth.

In this solemn hour,
when shadows lengthen and the cross draws near,
help us stay awake with You.
Keep us faithful when faith is tested.
Keep us near when fear tempts us to run.

May this Holy Thursday renew our devotion,
deepen our communion,

Greetings, Precious Family:

Family, I felt drawn to a certain passage of scripture in Hebrews this evening.

Hebrews 13:1–3 calls us to a practical, lived-out faith—one that moves beyond words into action. It begins simply: “Keep on loving one another.” This isn’t a one-time act but a continual posture. Love in the family of faith is meant to be steady, patient, and visible.

Then the passage stretches us further: “Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers…” In a world that often teaches caution and distance, God invites us into generosity and openness. Hospitality isn’t just about opening our homes—it’s about opening our hearts. You never know how God may work through a simple act of kindness. Sometimes, what may feel ordinary carries divine significance.

Finally, we are reminded to remember those in prison and those who are mistreated. This is a call to deep empathy. It asks us to step into the suffering of others—not as distant observers, but as if we were walking beside them. True Christian love refuses to ignore pain; it leans in, prays, supports, and advocates.

Spirit of the Living God, Thank You for loving us with a steadfast and unfailing love. Teach us to love others the same way—with patience, kindness, and sincerity. Open our eyes to opportunities to show hospitality, even when it feels inconvenient or uncomfortable. Help us to see people the way You see them.
Lord, soften our hearts toward those who are hurting, forgotten, or mistreated. Remind us to pray for them, care  them, and stand with them in whatever way we can. Give us the courage to act and compassion that reflects Your heart. May our lives be a living expression of Your love—welcoming, generous, and full of grace. In the name, power, authority of Christ Jesus. Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Greetings, Precious Family:

May the Peace of the Lord be with you always.

Family,

Today’s devotional feels more personal than most, and I’ve wrestled with whether or not to share it.

My biological father passed away on October 25, 2010. For as long as I can remember, one of the rhythms of our relationship was simple but meaningful—we would call each other at least twice a day. It was just what we did.

Not long after he passed, one of the hardest moments I experienced was picking up the phone to call him, only to realize he was truly gone. That reality settled in with a weight I can still remember.

Today, something similar happened. I was taking a nap, and when I woke up, I sat upright with a strong thought: “I need to call my Dad.” I picked up my phone and just paused, holding it in my hand. For a brief moment, it felt as though I had spoken to him just yesterday. The feeling was so real that it shook me—I even texted a family member about it.

It wasn’t until I began writing this devotional tonight that I started to understand what I was experiencing. Grief doesn’t always announce itself. Sometimes it revisits us quietly, unexpectedly, even years later, reminding us of the love we still carry.

All I can say in this moment is: Jesus, please walk with me through this.

And maybe that’s the devotional for today—not a lesson neatly wrapped, but a simple, honest prayer. That in moments when memories catch us off guard, when loss feels fresh again, we would invite Jesus to meet us there and walk with us through it.

Grace and peace to you all.

Greetings, Precious Family:

May the Peace of the Lord be with you.

Family, yesterday we talked about having a lifestyle of worship. When we think about a lifestyle of worship, there are two benefits.

First, a lifestyle of worship matures a believer in the things of God and allows a person to learn and grow and eventually lead others.

The second benefit is that a lifestyle of worship gives glory to God. One thing I always tell people is that everything that happens to us, and how we respond, is for our growth and God’s glory.

We were created to worship God. No matter what, God will get the glory. God has said that He is a jealous God and does not want to share his glory with anyone or anything.

Our worship is for God and by God.
