A Single Sheep…

Luke 15:3-7

New International Version

3 Then Jesus told them this parable:(A) “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?(B) And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

Our Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your unending, ever-flowing, compassionate and faithful love toward us your sheep. Even when one of us goes astray, your love calls out to us with the most beautiful love song. The way you rejoice when one is brought back to the fold is so beautiful. Thank you for giving us a heart for the lost, even when it’s not a popular or easy thing to do. May more of us have a heart like yours, in Jesus name. Amen.

Merry Christmas Everyone

Happy Birthday, Jesus
