Happy Wednesday. May you walk boldly today in the knowledge of who you are and whose you are. As a child of the Most High God, you have access and keys to the Throne Room of God through the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ.
John 8:34-36
New International Version (NIV)
34 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.35 Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever.36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
How does it feel to be chosen?
How does it feel to be created On Purpose?
We worship you Father. Thank you for loving us despite our unworthiness. May we walk worthy of the call you have placed in our lives.
Most of us know the beginning verse to this timeless song. What makes “Grace” so amazing? What properties does Grace include that would bring us to our knees and weep in thankfulness? The reason is, while we yet still sinners, Jesus died for us all.
Romans 5:1-8
New International Version (NIV)
Peace and Hope
5 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.3 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;4 perseverance, character; and character, hope.5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die.8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Every day, we should walk in the full knowledge and humbleness of the gift of Grace we were given. Understanding the weight that of our sins we did not have to carry…
Isaiah 53:5
New King James Version (NKJV)
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace wasupon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.
Go in peace, walk in love, while faithfully and joyfully serving the Lord.
It’s so good to be able to connect with you this morning. I hope you had an amazing weekend. Today, in the United States, we are celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Dr. King was a social activist, a religious leader, and a peacemaker. One of his most famous speeches was his, “I Have A Dream” speech. Dr. King was dreaming of a time and place where all men would become one. He, and those that supported him, were dreaming of a time when a man would be judged by their character and not the color of their skin.
Today, instead of a worship video, I leave you with Dr. King’s speech.
Be blessed today. Walk in love today. Allow God to work in and through you today.
“4 One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.”
I have truly missed you these last few days. Packing, moving into a new city and house and then unpacking is fun and exciting, but it requires a lot of time, money and effort. Praise God, we are all settled in and I’m ready to get back into a routine.
I was going to wait until Monday to write, but I was just missing you all so much. Every day, I feel your prayers, I feel your energy and I feel your love.
Thank you all again, for all of the encouraging words you have written, in response to various devotionals message. Your feedback is so appreciated, so please continue to share your heart with me.
What is next for Sacred Journey Devotionals in 2019? Well, I will be recording more live messages. I will be asking for more of your input. I would like to know your prayer concerns and your victories. I want you to know that I am here to pray with you, to laugh with you and to cry with you. I am your sister, in Christ, and your friend.
So happy Friday. Make today a great day. In everything you experience, give Thanks to God.
Enjoy today’s worship video from the anointed and talented Jamie Grace and know that I love you with the amazing and everlasting love of the Lord.
Go in peace, while joyfully serving and praising the Lord.
You may have wondered where I have been since last week. I’m happy to say that my family and I were in the process of moving into our new home. We are starting a brand new Chapter of our lives in a new city and we are so very thankful to God for blessing us.
Worship with me this morning, as we lift up holy hands and open our months to lavish praise, glory and honor on the King of Kings and Lord of Lord.
Isaiah 43:16-19
New International Version (NIV)
16 This is what the Lord says— he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters, 17 who drew out the chariots and horses, the army and reinforcements together, and they lay there, never to rise again, extinguished, snuffed out like a wick: 18 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. 19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
God in peace, while joyfully and faithfully serving the Lord.
When you look in the mirror, I hope you see God’s perfection at it’s very, very, best. You are beautiful and loved by the same Creator that hung the stars in the sky.
No matter what you have been through..
You are Loved!!!
No matter who may have hurt you…
You are Beautiful!!
No matter how someone made you feel, please remember….
You are Priceless!!!
Psalm 139:14-16
King James Version (KJV)
14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
I love you with the amazing and everlasting love of Jesus Christ our Lord and Magnificent Redeemer.
Peace and blessings to you all. I want to encourage you to start the year off strong in the Lord. There may be battles, wars and warfare, but know you are not standing alone
I encourage you to meditate and recite the 23rd Psalm every time you feel fearful, alone or afraid.
Psalm 23
Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
23 (0) A psalm of David:
(1) Adonai is my shepherd; I lack nothing. 2 He has me lie down in grassy pastures, he leads me by quiet water, 3 he restores my inner person. He guides me in right paths for the sake of his own name. 4 Even if I pass through death-dark ravines, I will fear no disaster; for you are with me; your rod and staff reassure me.
5 You prepare a table for me, even as my enemies watch; you anoint my head with oil from an overflowing cup.
6 Goodness and grace will pursue me every day of my life; and I will live in the house of Adonai for years and years to come.
Did you know that Sacred Journey Devotionals, like this one, goes all across the world and touches each and every continent and country. So even though I say, “Good morning” I know that we are all not in the same time zone, season or region.
However, there is one thing that will not change. One thing always remains the same, our God is the same yesterday, today and forever, Hallelujah!!!
Psalm 66:1-7
Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
66 (0) For the leader. A song. A psalm:
(1) Shout to God, all the earth! 2 Sing the glory of his name, make his praise glorious. 3 Tell God, “How awesome are your deeds! At your great power, your enemies cringe. 4 All the earth bows down to you, sings praises to you, sings praises to your name.” (Selah)
5 Come and see what God has done, his awesome dealings with humankind. 6 He turned the sea into dry land. They passed through the river on foot; there we rejoiced in him. 7 With his power he rules forever; his eyes keep watch on the nations. Let no rebel arise to challenge him. (Selah)
Have a wonderful and blessed day, family. I love you with the amazing and everlasting love of the Lord.
Happy New Year to you all. I pray that this year would bless your socks off, as you walk in obedience to the Spirit of the Living God.
Obedience is a heavy word, depending on what is being asked of you. Obedience comes on many levels. However, when it comes to our walk with Jesus Christ, God made flesh, our obedience is critical.
Have you ever been to the doctor and he or she holds up one finger and tells you not to move your head, but instead to follow their finger with your eyes only? You concentrate and focus on what their hand is doing. Making sure not to lose focus on what you are being asked to do.
In the same way, as when trials, storms, obstacles and just plain LIFE in general, come your way, it is so important, especially in those times, to follow the directions God is giving us.
No matter what is going on around me, I focus on God, who is my peace. May our eyes always be on you, God. May our souls be at peace. So much so that we will be able to say, “It is well, my eyes are you.”
God bless you all. I’m so honored to be on this sacred life journey with each and every one of you. May we be a light to each other on the path.
Numbers 6:24-26
Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
24 ‘Y’varekh’kha Adonai v’yishmerekha. [May Adonai bless you and keep you.]
25 Ya’er Adonai panav eleikha vichunekka. [May Adonai make his face shine on you and show you his favor.]
26 Yissa Adonai panav eleikha v’yasem l’kha shalom. [May Adonai lift up his face toward you and give you peace.]’
16 So the eleven talmidim went to the hill in the Galil where Yeshua had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they prostrated themselves before him; but some hesitated. 18 Yeshua came and talked with them. He said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore, go and make people from all nations into talmidim, immersing them into the reality of the Father, the Son and the Ruach HaKodesh, 20 and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember! I will be with you always, yes, even until the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:16-20
New International Version (NIV)
The Great Commission
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Good morning, Family:
I’m not sure if you noticed this morning, but I listed today’s scripture passage from two different translations.
Yes, they are worded a little differently, but the message is exactly the same. We were given instructions to tell all who would listen and receive, the wonderful life changing message of Jesus (Yeshua).
Today is the last day of 2018. This past year, for many of us, was a year of training, positioning and obedience. I’m sure that 2019 will be a year of getting used to our new placement. It is in my spirit to tell you this….
“DONT GO BACK TO WHAT IS FAMILIAR. DO NOT FEAR THE NEW LAND, JUST BECAUSE IT IS UNKNOWN. JESUS PROMISED TO BE WITH US UNTIL THE END OF THE AGES.”
2019 will be a year of putting all of your training to work. This year is the year of divine placement.
