No Fear…

LifeHopeandTruth_Psalm_23_4_800_800_80

Good morning, Family:

I pray your morning is starting off with glory and praise to our Lord. This is a brand new year. A fresh start in so many ways. I pray that the things we need to grow in, this year, will become easy for us to accomplish.

Not every road promises to be easy, but we do have the promise of not having to walk alone. We will not allow fear to keep us from our Greatness in Christ. We will not fear the unknown, when God calls us to step out on faith and trust. When we face a road that we cannot see, we will grab the hand of God and follow him. We won’t look down and be paralyzed by fear. We will walk by faith and not by sight, as the Word of God instructs us in 2 Corinthians 5:7.

Psalm 23

Living Bible (TLB)

23Because the Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything I need!

2-3 He lets me rest in the meadow grass and leads me beside the quiet streams. He gives me new strength. He helps me do what honors him the most.

Even when walking through the dark valley of death I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me, guarding, guiding all the way.

You provide delicious food for me in the presence of my enemies. You have welcomed me as your guest; blessings overflow!

Your goodness and unfailing kindness shall be with me all of my life, and afterwards I will live with you forever in your home.

Go in peace, while praising and serving the Lord.

Yes, I Will…

Good morning, Family:

I greet you with love, joy, and total peace in the Lord, Jesus Christ. We glorify your name Lord. We place nothing ahead of you, or in place of you. You alone are worthy of our worship and praise

May we forever recognize and realize that you deserve our first worship of the day. We say, “Yes, we will give you all the praise, honor, and glory that is due your name.”

Revelation 15:2-4

New International Version (NIV)

And I saw what looked like a sea of glass glowing with fire and, standing beside the sea, those who had been victorious over the beast and its image and over the number of its name. They held harps given them by God and sang the song of God’s servant Moses and of the Lamb:

“Great and marvelous are your deeds,
    Lord God Almighty.
Just and true are your ways,
    King of the nations.
Who will not fear you, Lord,
    and bring glory to your name?
For you alone are holy.
All nations will come
    and worship before you,
for your righteous acts have been revealed.”

Go in peace, while serving and praising the Lord.

It Doesn’t Make Sense…

20200116_092539

Good morning, Family:

Family, have you ever had something in your spirit that caused you to question God’s instructions? When you had a plan set in your head, but God came in and changed your plan, how did you respond to God?

It’s like you are running a race and you can see the finish line in the distance. Then all of a sudden God says, “Stop, don’t go straight. Turn right at the big oak tree.” You say to God, “Lord, I need to go straight, because the finish line is straight ahead. Don’t you see it Lord, it is right there?” Then there is a silence because God did not change his mind from what He told you to do.

After a while, you submit to the will of the Lord and turn right. The path to the right brought a new and deeper level of trust and dependence on the Lord. When you walked the path in obedience, you discovered that there were things you needed to learn before you crossed the finish line. You realized the straight line doesn’t always mean a clear line.

Proverbs 3:5-6 says that if we trust in the Lord and lean not to our understanding, he will make our path straight. In the instance of this scripture, the word “straightdoes not mean directly forward, it means “Clear.” God will make our path Clear. Clear and directly forward mean two different things.

This morning, I encourage you to trust in the Lord. Listen to God in the whisper. Even when you, or those around you, may think what God is telling you doesn’t make sense. Trust in the Lord anyway.

Proverbs 3:5-6

New International Version (NIV)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
    and he will make your paths straight.

Go in peace, while serving and praising the Lord.

One more thing…

Good morning again.

I don’t typically send two messages in one day, but the Holy Spirit impressed on my heart this message to give you.

God wants you to know how much he truly, truly, truly loves you.

So many people take God’s love as a simple thing. The God that created everything that IS…loves you and me. I’m tearing up just thinking about. I want to do an “ugly” cry but I am at work.

Please don’t take God’s love as a casual thing. His love cost him everything and cost you nothing.

Let that sit with you.

Good morning, Beautiful Family:

I greet you with so much love, this morning. I’m thankful and grateful that we have the opportunity to love, praise and worship the true and living God. The awesome God we serve is more powerful, omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient than we can ever imagine.

I stand in awe and humility, knowing that God loves you and me past our faults and shortcomings. There is nothing we can ever do to earn a seat at the table of God. It is only through Jesus Christ that we gain redemption and an invitation to the table of the Lord.

There is a seat at the Lord’s Table just for you. Come and be set free. Leave the heavy weight of your sins at the door.

The invitations have been sent. Please RSVP.

Matthew 11:25-30

New International Version (NIV)

The Father Revealed in the Son

25 At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. 26 Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.

27 “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

My prayer for us all is to richly and boldly walk into the fullness of the Lord with meek and humble hearts, remembering that it is nothing that we have earned or deserved on our own merit.

Go in peace, while praising and serving the Lord.

Good morning, Family:

The joy of the Lord is our Strength. What a joy it is to experience the beautiful presence of the Lord. I remember, when I was in my late teens, I would spend hours in my room reading God’s Word, singing worship and praise songs to the Lord, and praying and talking to the Lord.

I could always tell the very instant when the preseence of God would enter the room. There were times when I would lift my hands and cry. There would be other times when I would collapse to my knees and lay prostrate on the ground, because the glory of the Lord was so strong. In those times, after the presence left, I would fall into a deep sleep. I would wake up feeling so refreshed. It would literally feel like I fell asleep in the arms of the Lord.

Psalm 16:5-11

New International Version (NIV)

Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup;
    you make my lot secure.
The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
    surely I have a delightful inheritance.
I will praise the Lord, who counsels me;
    even at night my heart instructs me.
I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
    With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
    my body also will rest secure,
10 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,
    nor will you let your faithful[a] one see decay.
11 You make known to me the path of life;
    you will fill me with joy in your presence,
    with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Love on God extra today. Ask God to teach you how to draw close to him. I pray that you will grow more and more each day.

Go in peace, while serving the Lord.

You Are…

Good morning, Family:

I greet you with so much love and gratitude. I’m so thankful that we are allowed to come to the alter of God, that dwells within us, and worship. We can worship God wherever we are because the Holy Spirit of God lives in each of us. We don’t have to wait until the next church service to be able to lift our hands or dance before the Lord. We can continually worship every hour of the day.

God is with us!  What a powerful and awesome statement. When we need guidance, God is with us. When we are scared or hurting, God is with us. Anything that we lack, God is with us and God alone will lead us to an abundant life.

Lord, God, You are our everything. We bless you Lord. Help us to remember everything that You Are, in Jesus name. Amen.

John 10:9-11

English Standard Version (ESV)

I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

Go in peace, while praising and serving the Lord.

Still…

isaiah-40-28-29_ipad_original

Good morning, Family:

I’m so grateful for each of you today. We have began a new year. Old things are gone and new memories are being made. There is one thing that is STILL the same. God is still faithful. God is still Holy. God is still healing, according to his will. God is still love.

Isaiah 40:28

English Standard Version (ESV)

28 Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
    the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary;
    his understanding is unsearchable.

May the unchanging peace of the Lord be you always.

Even So…

Happy New Year, Family:

I greet you with abundant love. May we begin the year in perfect position to receive our Lord. “Like a bride waiting for her groom, we’ll be a church waiting for you.” These lyrics are from the song Even So Come by Chris Tomlin. What powerful words and imagery.

Isaiah 61:10-11

New International Version (NIV)

10 I delight greatly in the Lord;
    my soul rejoices in my God.
For he has clothed me with garments of salvation
    and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness,
as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest,
    and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11 For as the soil makes the sprout come up
    and a garden causes seeds to grow,
so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness
    and praise spring up before all nations.

May the peace of the Lord be with you always.

Hands Up…

Lifted_Hands1

Good morning, Family:

It’s Monday December 30th. We are in the last year and the last week of the decade. What does God have for you, in the upcoming year?

Have you been still and asked the Holy Spirit to show, lead and guide you for the upcoming New Season? I received a glimpse of what is to come and I am so very excited.

May we lift our hands up and our hearts in total surrender to the will and purpose of God. May we put our hands up as a visual, physical, and emotional surrender in devotion to God.

Psalm 134

A song of ascents.

Praise the Lord, all you servants of the Lord
    who minister by night in the house of the Lord.
Lift up your hands in the sanctuary
    and praise the Lord.

May the Lord bless you from Zion, he who is the Maker of heaven and earth.

Be blessed, family. I love you with the neverending, never ceasing, all encompassing love of the Lord.

Go in peace, while serving the Lord. All thanks be to our God, Jehovah!
