Day 29 of 365: Asking For Prayer

Greetings, Precious Family:

May the Peace of the Lord be with you.

Well, tonight’s devotional is going to be a little different. I am disabled and suffer from severe arthritis in my spine, knees, hips, etc. Along with thst I carry extra weight that I have put on since I lost a my mobility.

I have fallen a few times, but tonight was the worst fall so far. We had to call 911 this evening, and it took several fire fighters to get me off the ground. I feel like a failure, and my pride is bruised.

I ask for your prayers this evening…

Right now, the only prayer I have is…

Lord, please help me!!!

  1. Rev. Davis, you have inspired so many when they had no hope, including myself, so I want to pray for you.

Heavenly and merciful Father, we thank you for the gift of life, for your neverending grace and mercy, and for your abiding love for us. We humbly come before you asking for your healing hands to touch my sister. We ask dear God, for mobility of her limbs, we ask Father, that all pain be taken away from her body, that you touch and heal from the top of her head to the soles of her feet. We thank you God for how you have used her to proclaim your Word and for how you’ve used her to give hope to others. We praise and glorify your name in advance for what you will do in her and through her, in the mighty name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
