15 When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. “Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?” the servant asked.
16“Don’t be afraid,”(A) the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more(B) than those who are with them.”
17 And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots(C) of fire all around Elisha.

Holy Father, Thank you for always going before us, in battle. When fear and doubt try to overcome us, we know that you are our shield and sword. Help us to always remember that you know our end from the very beginning. Open our eyes, so that we can see that there are more for us than there are against us. We trust your will and way. Help us to be in perfect cadence with your will in heaven, so that we may live in harmony and obedience to You. We pray this prayer in the name of our Lord, Redeemer, Brother and Friend, Jesus Christ. Amen.
