Mark 12:30-31

New International Version

³⁰ Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.

Father God,

The season of 2020 has brought so many things boling to the surface. We have taken our eyes off of you. Hatred, political unrest, pandemics, and so many other things have our focus. Man has looked to man for the answers. Lord God, bring things back into focus. Our eyes have been roaming for answers when the answer has been in front of us the whole time. May we return to our first love, which is You. As we love you, we will be authentic in our love for our fellow man. In Jesus name, Amen.
