Good morning, Beloved Family:
I hope you and your family and friends are fairing well, during this unprecedented time in our world and country and community. One thing that always gives me hope is the resilience of the human spirit.
It warms my heart to see how communities and neighborhoods are working together. Be sure, every chance you get, to tell those who help, “Thank You.” So many industries are still moving, albeit at a much smaller pace.
I personally would like to recognize everyone in helping services, healthcare service, food and grocery service, and the transportation industries. I’ve never been more grateful to see trucks on the road and trains moving down the tracks.
A special thank you to all of the parents who have had to turn their homes into full time schools, hospitals, gourmet kitchens and entertainment centers. May God continue to give you strength.
I encourage us all to continue to place our hope and trust in God. God still gives us all the strength, grace, knowledge, wisdom, ingenuity and creative thought to go through each day. May we never take credit for what God is doing. We are all vessels to be used for the good of man and ultimately the glory of God.
Psalm 71:1-5
New International Version (NIV)
Psalm 71
1 In you, Lord, I have taken refuge;
let me never be put to shame.
2 In your righteousness, rescue me and deliver me;
turn your ear to me and save me.
3 Be my rock of refuge,
to which I can always go;
give the command to save me,
for you are my rock and my fortress.
4 Deliver me, my God, from the hand of the wicked,
from the grasp of those who are evil and cruel.5 For you have been my hope, Sovereign Lord,
my confidence since my youth.
In Christ Alone is such a powerful song. Hallelujah! He arose from the grave!!
