The month of June is full of weddings. What an exciting time in the lives of two people and their families.

Marriage is a sacred journey between two people. After my first marriage, I remained single for almost 19 years. I understood that I had a lot of learning, growing and healing to do.

I used my time of singleness to serve God and to prepare myself for my future. I had a very intimate relationship with the Lord. I was very involved in church and several ministries. I had a strong prayer life and I learned how to hear the voice of God so very clearly.

Then one day God said in a whisper, “Im going to change your name.” I didn’t quite know what he meant. A few weeks later God began to put the desire for a husband in my heart.

When God started preparing my heart for a husband, I was SO Afraid. I questioned God. I asked Him, “Who is going to cover me like you cover me? Who is going to love me like you love me? Who is going to make me feel like a princess, the way that You do? I dont want him, God, if he doesn’t remind me of you.”

I never knew I could love someone so much.

True Love is beautiful. My husband wasnt the one that gave me wings, but he was the one that reminded me that I was Created to fly.

So if you are single, taking the next step to marriage is nothing to be taken lightly. Be very sure before saying, “I Do.”

God’s Everlasting Love

³¹ What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? ³² He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? ³³ Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. ³⁴ Who is he who condemns? Please accept my apologies in not coming to you daily with inspirational blog entries.  My heart needed a few days to mend from a great sadness that was over me, due to the passing of a dear friend. But I was reminded that I have a calling on my life and that calling does not take days off. I asked God for a refreshing in my spirit. God is so faithful to those that call on Him.

Praise God, my heart, mind and spirit decided  that my time of mourning was over. My mindset needs to be that of joy, thankfulness, blessings and an overpowering knowing that God has already taken care of everything.

So this morning when I rose, I didnt have ANY DOUBT that God had already worked it out for my good or for His glory.

Philippians 4:4-7  (NKJV)

⁴ Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

⁵ Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

⁶ Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; ⁷ and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Amen)

Can you imagine, one day, seeing the One your soul longs for and worships every day? Oh, What majesty! What glory! What Worship!

Losing a loved one is never easy. In fact it is one of the hardest things we will ever go through, but imagine what it will be like for the loved one we have lost. What will they see?

A dear soul transitioned this week into her new clothes. I send love to the family, the church and the community of believers. She was a brilliant bright light and will forever be missed.

Have you ever faced a problem that you felt was too big for you to handle? Have you ever been faced with an obstacle that seemed too hard to get around? Have you ever faced an adversary that was too strong for you? Have you ever been given a task that you felt was far outside of your skill level?  If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions then I have great news. You will NEVER have to face those things by yourself again.

God used Moses as a great example of the Power we have at our disposal. Moses had a difficult task ahead of him, but God reminded Moses that HE was the authority. It was the name, authority and power of God, the great “I Am” that changed the circumstances.

The next time you are facing a mountain, enemy, task, or event, remind whatever it is that the great I Am has already taken care of everything. Speak to your circumstances with Authority.

Do you need peace in your life? Tell your sorrow that “I Am” has given you joy for sorrow and peace for your despair.

Are you facing a sickness in your body? Tell that sickness that “I Am” has called you healed and completely whole.

Whatever your obstacle, ask God the same question Moses did? Who do I tell the problem I am facing sent me? Tell your problem that “I Am That I Am” has sent you!!!!

Everyone says that change is inevitable. The only thing that is not guaranteed about change is how its going to happen and when it’s going to come.

At times, change can cause anxiety and fear, due to the unknown element of how things will turn out. However, if we say that we love God then we can trust in his plan. I never said that trust was easy, but with God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26 –  Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”)

God is loving, faithful and patient. He wants the very best for us. Sometimes, I have to remember that I am not the driver, God is. Allow God to take the wheel. He knows the road map very well.

Our prayer today: Lord, help us, your children, remember that you are God alone. Thank you building the trust in us that allows us to peacefully rest in your care, because we know that YOU KNOW the end from the beginning. In the mighty and matchless name of your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Redeeming Savior. Amen.

2 Corinthians 6:17-18

¹⁷ Therefore,

Every once in a while the Holy Spirit will give me a spiritual warning. The warning will come softly initially and if I dont listen it gets louder and louder. If I still haven’t listened,  by that point,  God will usually bring the warning through someone I know.

I had received a warning to come out from among a certain group of people.  I was obedient for a while, but then I slowly found myself going back. My heart was torn between past friendships and obedience.

Im so thankful that I have a spirit-filled husband. He just told me point blank one day, “Didnt God tell you to come away from those people?” I gave my husband all the reasons I could think of, but ultimately I knew he was right and I had to let go and obey God.

Our obedience to God is so important. We may not always understand God’s plan. Our job, as believers, is to follow and obey.

Never let anything or anyone compete for God’s attention and purposes for your life.

Search your heart today. Is there anything or anyone that God has told you to let go? What is keeping you from being obedient to God completely? Trust God.

The Triumphal Entry

When they approached Jerusalem and had reached Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples [ahead], ² saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and at once you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her; untie them and bring them to Me. ³ If anyone says anything to you, you should say, ‘The Lord needs them,’ and without delay the owner will send them [with you].” ⁴ This happened so that what was spoken by the prophet would be fulfilled, saying:

⁶ Then the disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them, ⁷ and they brought the donkey and ^[a]the colt, and ^[b]placed their coats on them; and Jesus sat on the coats. ⁸ Most of the crowd spread their coats on the road [as before a king], while others were cutting branches from the trees and spreading them on the road. ⁹ The crowds that went ahead of Him, and those that followed Him, were shouting [in praise and adoration],

Today, in the Christian church, is what is known as Palm Sunday. It is the day when Jesus rode in on a donkey and the people, while laying down palm branches, cried out Hosanna in the highest.

My husband and I bought a lot of flowers, seeds, plants, flower pots and potting soil today. We got dirty and began the necessary process of uprooting the old plants so that we could transfer them to a bigger pot. We also had to began the process of planting new seeds that will hopefully bloom and produce a harvest in the next few months.

As I was up to elbows in dirt, I couldn’t help but think about how Jesus was feeling, knowing the “Process” that must take place over the next seven days.

Jesus rode humbly on the road to his ordained time of processing. He didnt fight God or run from God. Jesus knew the plans of the Father, because he saught the Father’s face at every turn. Even though Jesus knew what was to take place he also knew it would not be an easy journey.

I silently asked God to search my heart. My prayer, “Father, please let my heart be sensitive to your processing. As I hold this dirt in my hand, I am reminded of where I come from and where I will return, in your perfect timing.  While Im here on earth, use me for your highest glory. Never let my agenda get in the way of your plan. To You, God, I give the highest glory. In Jesus name, Amen..

“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1:6 NIV)

It seems like we are all in a season of change, whether spiritual or physical.

I want to personally encouraged you to give God the time to finish the work he started in you. Whether the work started was five minutes ago or five years ago. God is faithful to finish the work he began in each of us.

Hold on, just a little while longer. Dont grow weary. It’s not over until God says it over. Praise God, that He loves us enough not to leave us the way he found us. Praise God!!!
