2 Corinthians 6:17-18

17 Therefore,
“Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you.”
18 “I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the Lord Almighty.”
Every once in a while the Holy Spirit will give me a spiritual warning. The warning will come softly initially and if I dont listen it gets louder and louder. If I still haven’t listened, by that point, God will usually bring the warning through someone I know.
I had received a warning to come out from among a certain group of people. I was obedient for a while, but then I slowly found myself going back. My heart was torn between past friendships and obedience.
Im so thankful that I have a spirit-filled husband. He just told me point blank one day, “Didnt God tell you to come away from those people?” I gave my husband all the reasons I could think of, but ultimately I knew he was right and I had to let go and obey God.
Our obedience to God is so important. We may not always understand God’s plan. Our job, as believers, is to follow and obey.
Never let anything or anyone compete for God’s attention and purposes for your life.
Search your heart today. Is there anything or anyone that God has told you to let go? What is keeping you from being obedient to God completely? Trust God.

Thank you for this on time word. I have been struggling with the opposite. I want to leave a group of people, but God is telling me “not now”. My prayer partner tells me I’m on assignment. Assignment or not, things hurt. Never the less….

To get perfect clarity from the Holy Spirit, I would lovingly advise you to fast, worship and pray. If God has you on assignment, the fasting and time of consecration will reveal some secret things in the spirit. Secret Things are revealed in the Secret Place. Fasting, worship and prayer forces our flesh and emotions to get out of the way so that we can hear God clearly. I cant wait to hear your Praise Report. May God refresh you on your journey.
