Day 51 of 365: He Cares…

Greetings, Precious Family:

May the Peace of the Lord be with you.

Family, when life gets tough and you feel like throwing in the towel, please remember that God cares for you. Also, remember that there are so many instances when the world watches how we respond to trials, tests, and tribulations. No, I’m not saying to be fake or insincere. What I’m saying is to trust God through whatever you are going through.

When you are tired and want to sit down and throw your hands up, it is perfectly alright to do that. Just remember to take a deep breath, ask the Lord to help you to your feet, and keep moving until you can grab ahold of hope. You are not alone. Remember to ask for help and prayer. The enemy will try to isolate you through depression and anxiety but don’t give in. Call out for help. You are not alone.

If you ever need someone to talk to because you are thinking about giving up, please call 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. You are NEVER ALONE.

Scripture Passage of the Day

Isaiah 41:10-13
New International Version

10 So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

11 “All who rage against you
will surely be ashamed and disgraced;
those who oppose you
will be as nothing and perish.
12 Though you search for your enemies,
you will not find them.
Those who wage war against you
will be as nothing at all.
13 For I am the Lord your God
who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear;
I will help you.

Let Us Pray

Spirit of the Living God, thank you for reminding us how to pray when words escape us. Jesus told us to pray this prayer. Our Father who are in heaven, holy is your name. Your kingdom come, and your will be done in my life, as it has been spoken and decreed in heaven.

Lord God, you are the Bread of Life. Go with us today and be our portion and our sustenance. You are the Great, I Am. Everything we need you already have prepared for us.

Forgive us of our sins against you and our sins against others. I will remember to forgive others as well. Protect us from anything that would try to separate us from you. You Lord deserve all the glory, honor, and power. In Jesus name we do pray.

And we let it be…And so it is…

Amen, Amen, and Amen

Day 17 of 365: The Lord’s Prayer

Greetings, Precious Family:

May the Peace of the Lord be with you.

When I began thinking about how to pray, my heart always goes back to The Lord’s Prayer. It is the ultimate road map that covers the perfect format of a prayer.

The importance of starting each prayer by giving God glory and honor is the most important aspect. Jesus taught his disciples to never ask God for anything until they have given glory, honor, and worship to God.

Scripture of the Day

Matthew 6:7-13
New International Version

7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

9 “This, then, is how you should pray:

“‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,[a]
but deliver us from the evil one.[b]’

Let Us Pray

Spirit of the Living God, we bless your holy name. We place nothing before you and know that you are our source and strength. Guide us in your perfect will so that we may be in tune with heaven. In Jesus’ name.

And we let it be…And so it is…

Amen, Amen, and Amen

P.U.S.H.

Good morning, Precious Family:

May the Peace of the Lord be with you always.

Family, have you ever heard the acronym P.U.S.H. which stands for Pray Until Something Happens? I know you may think I’m crazy but I think the acronym is so funny. Not “funny” as in comical but funny as in, if we were to pray the way Jesus taught us to pray, there really wouldn’t be a  need to P.U.S.H.

When the disciples of Jesus asked him how to pray, this was his answer:

Matthew 6:6-14

New International Version

But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

“This, then, is how you should pray:

“‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,[a]
but deliver us from the evil one.[b]

14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

Family, have you ever been around a complete stranger, but something about them was drawing you to them? Then come to find out you are both two people that have a close relationship with the Lord.

Do you know “what” caused the attraction to each other? Well, I will tell you. You and the stranger were each vibrating at the same frequency.

Heaven has a vibration and a frequency. As we spend more and more time with God and being in Jehovah’s presence, we begin to match the frequency and vibration of heaven. We are carrying the fragrance of Heaven.

Heavenly Worship

Family, when you are in your secret prayer place, play this song or any worship song that ushers you into a deep worship. In that moment, pray the Lord’s Prayer. Then, leave your prayer at the altar and have faith that it is already done, according to the Lord’s will and the will of Heaven.

I love you with the amazing and everlasting love of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Savior, and Risen Redeemer!!!!

Our Father…

Greetings, Precious Family:

I pray that you all had time to reflect and be thankful for the many blessings in your life, over the holiday weekend. Whether it is your family, your health, or your ability to be able to talk to the Creator of the whole world, there are so many things to be thankful for today.

There are days that even though we are grateful, we still go through trials and tribulations in this thing called life. One thing to remember is that we are never alone. God promised to never leave us or forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6).

On more than one occasion, in conversation, someone would talk to me about something they were going through. Inevitably, at some point in the conversation, they would share their frustration in not knowing how or what to pray for in their particular situation.

I would always remind them that Jesus had already taught us how to pray in Matthew 6:9-13.

Our prayers should be structured in this format:

1. Give God and the Kingdom of Heaven honor

2. Acknowledge that you want to be in agreement with what has been spoken and decreed in heaven.

3. Our prayers MUST be in agreement with the will of God. Our prayers are for what has been spoken in heaven to manifest on earth. It is not about our will.

4. In prayer, it is not about what we want. Ask God to teach you how to pray in agreement with heaven (Your will be done. Your kingdom come, on earth, AS IT IS IN HEAVEN).

4. Ask God to keep you from all hurt, harm, and danger. Ask for protection from any seen and unseen traps, snars, and witchcraft of the enemy. Ask God to teach you how to pray specifically over your home, town, and country, according to His will.

5. Close the prayer by acknowledging the majesty and power of God.

6. Seal your prayer with the all-powerful name of our Lord, Wayshower, and Redeemer Jesus, The Christ, who intercedes for us at the right hand of the Father.

That is the formula to effectively pray in ANY situation.
