Is It All Worth It?

Good morning, Precious Family:

May the Peace of the Lord be with you always and in every circumstance and situation. May you remember that Peace is freely given and it is a choice as to whether you received it. Just like Salvation, once you accept the Lord’s Peace it will change your life.

Family, I was thinking this week about my life and some of the decisions I have made in my Christian journey. I was thinking about the prayers I’ve prayed, the songs I have sang, and the time I have spent listening and learning in preparing these devotionals each week for the last eight years.

My biggest question is, has it all been worth it, or was it in vain?  Have any lives been touched or transformed? Did anyone make a different choice because of the words God shared through me? Some of these answers I may never get until I get to heaven. Some days I just want to know… Is it all worth it?

Holy Scriptures

1 Corinthians 15:51-58

New Catholic Bible

51 Listen while I tell you a mystery. We shall not all fall asleep, but we shall all be changed 52 in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, at the sound of the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.[a] 53 For this perishable body must be clothed with the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality.

54 When this perishable body puts on imperishability, and this mortal body puts on immortality, then will the words that are written be fulfilled:

Death has been swallowed up in victory.
55     Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?”

56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the Law. 57 But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, stand firm and immovable, devoting yourselves completely to the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

Family, no, it is not all in vain. We each all have our own races to run for the Lord. Run YOUR race well, so that when you get to the finish line, the Lord can say, “Well done, my good and faith servant.”

I pray continually for all of us. I pray for our strength in the Lord. Family, keep your spiritual weapons ready. Study Ephesians 6 and truly learn how to put into practice what each weapon does.

These are just a few of the weapons. Study to learn about all of the weapons available for us to use.

Helmet of salvation: Protects our thoughts and helps us stand firm in battle

Shield of faith: Extinguishes the flaming arrows of evil

Breastplate of righteousness: Protects our heart

Word of God: Gives us peace and joy, and allows us to defeat the enemy

Truth, righteousness, the Gospel, faith, the hope of our salvation, prayer: Other pieces of spiritual armor

Keep pressing forward,

Your sister,

Strongholds, Principalities, and Witchcraft…

Good morning, Precious Family:

I’m sure the title of the devotional has gotten the attention of many of you. The reason for this devotional message is because God needs us to take back our position as prayer warriors, Intercessors, prayer wailers, and worshippers.

I’m not sure if God’s chosen earthly army is just tired of fighting or have been deceived into thinking that what we are experiencing in today’s world is anything other than a serious spiritual battle for the souls on this earth.

Please, Family, if you have been given the anointing and mantle to be a worshipper, Intercessors, wailer, or prayer warrior, please go back to your post. We need you. The battle is in high gear and we need everyone to stand up and put on their Godly armor in the spirit realm.

Ephesians 6:10-18

New International Version / The Armor of God

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

This week’s worship video is from a woman of God I truly honor and respect. My greatest desire is to see her worship live. Pastor Shirley Caesar.
