You Are…

4485

Good morning, Family:

I greet you with so much love and gratitude. I’m so thankful that we are allowed to come to the alter of God, that dwells within us, and worship. We can worship God wherever we are because the Holy Spirit of God lives in each of us. We don’t have to wait until the next church service to be able to lift our hands or dance before the Lord. We can continually worship every hour of the day.

God is with us!  What a powerful and awesome statement. When we need guidance, God is with us. When we are scared or hurting, God is with us. Anything that we lack, God is with us and God alone will lead us to an abundant life.

Lord, God, You are our everything. We bless you Lord. Help us to remember everything that You Are, in Jesus name. Amen.

John 10:9-11

English Standard Version (ESV)

I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

Go in peace, while praising and serving the Lord.

Still…

Good morning, Family:

I’m so grateful for each of you today. We have began a new year. Old things are gone and new memories are being made. There is one thing that is STILL the same. God is still faithful. God is still Holy. God is still healing, according to his will. God is still love.

Isaiah 40:28

English Standard Version (ESV)

28 Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary;
    his understanding is unsearchable.

May the unchanging peace of the Lord be you always.

Happy New Year, Family:

I greet you with abundant love. May we begin the year in perfect position to receive our Lord. “Like a bride waiting for her groom, we’ll be a church waiting for you.” These lyrics are from the song Even So Come by Chris Tomlin. What powerful words and imagery.

Isaiah 61:10-11

New International Version (NIV)

10 I delight greatly in the Lord;
my soul rejoices in my God.
For he has clothed me with garments of salvation
and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness,
as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest,
and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11 For as the soil makes the sprout come up
and a garden causes seeds to grow,
so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness
and praise spring up before all nations.

May the peace of the Lord be with you always.

Hands Up…

Lifted_Hands1

Good morning, Family:

It’s Monday December 30th. We are in the last year and the last week of the decade. What does God have for you, in the upcoming year?

Have you been still and asked the Holy Spirit to show, lead and guide you for the upcoming New Season? I received a glimpse of what is to come and I am so very excited.

May we lift our hands up and our hearts in total surrender to the will and purpose of God. May we put our hands up as a visual, physical, and emotional surrender in devotion to God.

Psalm 134

A song of ascents.

Praise the Lord, all you servants of the Lord
who minister by night in the house of the Lord.
Lift up your hands in the sanctuary
    and praise the Lord.

May the Lord bless you from Zion, he who is the Maker of heaven and earth.

Be blessed, family. I love you with the neverending, never ceasing, all encompassing love of the Lord.

Go in peace, while serving the Lord. All thanks be to our God, Jehovah!

Inheritance…

Abba

Good morning, Family:

I greet you with love, peace, joy, and contentment, in the Holy Spirit and character of God.

As children of God, we take on the traits and characteristics of our family. What a wonderful blessing it is. when someone tells us that we remind them of our divine family. There is no shame in being adopted. Our Father wanted us more than anything in the world. His eyes were longing to hear the day that we could cry out to Him and say, “Abba, Father.”

Galatians 4:1-7

New International Version (NIV)

What I am saying is that as long as an heir is underage, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate. The heir is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father. So also, when we were underage, we were in slavery under the elemental spiritual forces of the world. But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship. Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.

The Word, today, has filled my heart and soul. It makes me want to dance and sing, but at the same time kneel, worship and cry. What a mighty God we serve!!

Glory to God in the Highest!

Good morning, Family:

I greet you with love, joy, and peace in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Around the world, Christians celebrated the birth of Jesus.

Hopefully, your family reflected on the magnitude of what his birth truly meant. Even before God made the choice to become flesh, he had already made the decision to die for us. That is why we celebrate Christmas. Emmanuel, God with us. Redeemer, Savior, and Lord of All.

Colossians 1:13-20

New International Version (NIV)

13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

The Supremacy of the Son of God

15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17 He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19 For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

Go in joy and thanksgiving, while serving the Lord.

In Christ alone.

Luke 2:14

King James Version (KJV)

14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Good morning, Family:

May God continue to lead you and guide you in all that you do. God led by a Cloud in the wilderness. He led by a Star in the desert. Now he leads by His Spirit in our heart.

Continue to listen and watch for God. Trust his voice. Trust the Word of God.

I love you with the amazing and everlasting love of the Lord.

Now, go and be GREAT!!

You Dont Know…

Deuteronomy-31-6

Good morning, Family:

I’m so glad that I can call each of you my brothers and sister. God has made us a family. As a family, I can tell you that I have been through some things, but God’s faithfulness and love has always kept me.

In the times that I was scared, God was there. In the times that I had doubts, God was there. In the times that I had questions, God was there. He was always there.

People have always asked me why I worship the way that I do. The answer is simple. God was ALWAYS there.

Hebrews 13:5-6

New International Version (NIV)

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,

“Never will I leave you;
    never will I forsake you.”[a]

So we say with confidence,

“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?”

Hold your head up. Be a living, breathing, walking and talking epistle for Christ.

Now go and be GREAT!!!!

I Love you,

Rev. Marcia Davis

Unto Us…

ea3fe1ec02605c02b5aac0826fec9ee5

Good morning, Family:

Have you finished your shopping for the holidays? What did you ask Santa this Christmas? Did you go to the mall and fight traffic and people?

Question?????

How many days, leading up to Christmas do you and/or your family spend time giving thanks to Jesus. He is truly the reason for the season.

Challenge…

My challenge to you and your family is to set aside time, each day leading up to Christmas, to give thanks to God for the gift of his Son.

Give Thanks…

Whether it’s reading the scriptures, singing a song, or saying a prayer, give thanks to God for Jesus.

Isaiah 9:6-7

New King James Version (NKJV)

For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

Give thanks to God for the wonderful gift of Love.

In Jesus’ name,

Rev. Marcia F. Davis

Joyful Noise…

91ieGT6xpfL._SX425_

Good morning, Divine Family:

Glorify God, in the majesty of His holiness. Make a joyful, intentional, worshipful praise unto the Lord. Clap your hands and start giving praise to the Lord.

Psalm 100

Living Bible (TLB)

100 Shout with joy before the Lord, O earth! Obey him gladly; come before him, singing with joy.

Try to realize what this means—the Lord is God! He made us—we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Go through his open gates with great thanksgiving; enter his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and bless his name. For the Lord is always good. He is always loving and kind, and his faithfulness goes on and on to each succeeding generation.

Have a worship filled day. Keep the Lord close to your heart and mind. Make your steps intentional and divine. Guard the words that come out of your mouth. Speak life to those you encounter. Speak life to yourself.

Go in peace, while serving and praising the Lord.

In His Amazing love,

Rev. Marcia Davis
