Waving Goodbye…

Proverbs 3:5-8

New International Version

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.[a]

7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the Lord and shun evil.
This will bring health to your body
    and nourishment to your bones.

OUR PRAYER

Father God, we know that you know the end from the beginning. We trust you in the process. We pray for our country and our leaders. May peace be restored to our country. May every spirit that is not like you be humbled and brought to its knees in submission to you, Jehovah.

In the time of anger, confusion and unrest, we line up everything by the plumb line of your Holy Word, Your Holy character and Your Holy order. We know that you are not the God of confusion. We place our complete trust in you and we understand that you alone have the final word.

We praise you right now, as we dance like David danced, and tell our worries goodbye. We are standing in faith and place our COMPLETE trust in you alone. We seal this prayer and offer it to you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Redeemer. Amen

I’m Sorry (Again). Please Change Me…

Psalm 51:10-17

Living Bible

10 Create in me a new, clean heart, O God, filled with clean thoughts and right desires. 11 Don’t toss me aside, banished forever from your presence. Don’t take your Holy Spirit from me. 12 Restore to me again the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you. 13 Then I will teach your ways to other sinners, and they—guilty like me—will repent and return to you. 14-15 Don’t sentence me to death. O my God, you alone can rescue me. Then I will sing of your forgiveness,[a] for my lips will be unsealed—oh, how I will praise you.

16 You don’t want penance; if you did, how gladly I would do it! You aren’t interested in offerings burned before you on the altar

17 It is a broken spirit you want—remorse and penitence. A broken and a contrite heart, O God, you will not ignore.

OUR PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father, we cry out to you for forgiveness and deliverance. We are sorry for breaking your heart over and over again. We know that you dont want one more “I’m Sorry,” but you want to see a change in our heart, mind, and finally our actions. Create in us a clean heart, Lord. Let not our prayers be words only, but through the victory we have in your Son, Jesus Christ, we know we have the victory. Help us not to listen to our flesh, but allow the Spirit of God to rise up in us. In the precious and holy name of Jesus. Amen

I’m Blessed…

Deuteronomy 28:6-9

New International Version

You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.

The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.

8 The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.

9 The Lord will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the Lord your God and walk in obedience to him.

OUR PRAYER

Father God, we bless you for going before us to prepare a way. You have promised us, in your Word, when we come and when we go, we are blessed because our faces are turned toward you. No matter what it looks like, we are blessed. No matter what man says, we are blessed. Continue to lead us by your Holy Spirit and by your Word. In the name of our Redeemer and Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Hope Restored…

Romans 15:5-6

New International Version

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

OUR PRAYER

Precious Father,

All praises belong to you today and every day. Thank you for our daily dose of hope. May we share the hope we have in you with those you have ordained for us to encounter. May the love of Christ be ever present in our hearts, minds, and actions. We lay all of our fears, worries and anxieties at your feet. We know that no matter what comes, our hope is in you alone. We lift these prayers to you in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

We’ve Come This Far…

2 Corinthians 5:6-10

New International Version

6 Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. For we live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

WE’VE COME THIS FAR BY FAITH…

OUR PRAYER:

Dear Heavenly Father:

We bless your name in knowing that there is none like you in the earth, above the earth or below the earth. You have the final say in our lives. We walk by faith, in You, and not by sight. We know that you are the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. Our bodies bow in holy reverence to your presence in our lives. We know that the King of Glory, the Lord Strong and Mighty is in this place. Our gaze is ever on you. Guide our steps in a way that pleases you. In the name of our Lord and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Amen.

I’ve Got You…

1 Peter 5:7

Revised Standard Version

Cast all your anxieties on him, for he cares about you.

OUR PRAYER:

Dear Heavenly Father,

Some days we have so much anxiety and fear about the things we cannot control. Thank you for reminding us that when we turn our face towards you, all of our problems will diminish. Thank you for just wanting to hold us and cradle us in your arms. We find our rest and peace in you. We love you, Lord and bless your name. In Jesus name. Amen.

Faithfulness…

Lamentations 3:22-26

Revised Standard Version

22 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases,[a]
    his mercies never come to an end;
23 they are new every morning;
    great is thy faithfulness.
24 “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“therefore I will hope in him.”

25 The Lord is good to those who wait for him,
to the soul that seeks him.
26 It is good that one should wait quietly
for the salvation of the Lord.

OUR PRAYER:

Father God,

We thank you for your faithfulness toward us. We honor and adore you, Lord. In You we have our purpose and our destiny. May our walk be ever pleasing in your sight. We ask this in the name of your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

Renewed and Revived

2 Corinthians 5:16-20

The Message

16-20 Because of this decision we don’t evaluate people by what they have or how they look. We looked at the Messiah that way once and got it all wrong, as you know. We certainly don’t look at him that way anymore. Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life burgeons! Look at it! All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other. God put the world square with himself through the Messiah, giving the world a fresh start by offering forgiveness of sins. God has given us the task of telling everyone what he is doing. We’re Christ’s representatives. God uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God’s work of making things right between them. We’re speaking for Christ himself now: Become friends with God; he’s already a friend with you.

OUR PRAYER:

Gracious Lord, we are so grateful for your grace in giving your only Son as a sacrifice for us. Remind us daily and even moment by moment that we are new creations in Christ. Remind us that we are to love others and not judge. Our job as heirs of Grace and Mercy is to show love and lead others to you. In the precious name of our Lord Jesus, Amen.

Just To Be Close…

Psalm 63:1-4

New International Version

Psalm 63

A psalm of David. When he was in the Desert of Judah.

You, God, are my God,
    earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,(A)
my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
    where there is no water.(B)

I have seen you in the sanctuary(C)
and beheld your power and your glory.(D)
Because your love is better than life,(E)
    my lips will glorify you.
I will praise you as long as I live,(F)
and in your name I will lift up my hands.(G)

OUR PRAYER…

Heavenly Father,

We bless your name this morning. Thank you for a beautiful morning. We rejoice this morning knowing that you are with us and for us. Continue to walk with us. We desire nothing more than to be close to you. Guide us to live closer lives as we live our lives for you, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

I love you all with an amazing love. Go in peace while serving and praising the Lord.

What’s on the Inside?

X-RAYS

Good morning, Family:

You are always in my prayers and thoughts. I know this time and season, in the world, is stripping most people down to the authentic version of who they truly are in a critical time. When it comes down the bare bones, who are we really? What or who is our compass for our behavior?

Ephesians 4:1-6

English Standard Version

Unity in the Body of Christ

I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

OUR PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, we thank you for your faithfulness toward us. You have given everything we need to know how to walk worthy of the calling as servants of God. We pray for strength for our daily walk. May the Spirit of Christ shine brightly through us, for your glory. In Jesus name, Amen.

Go in peace, family, while praising and serving the Lord. I love you with an amazing and everlasting love.
