Love Wins…

38072-204

Have you ever just had one of those days were you woke up and felt a little gruff around the edges? Maybe you could tell that you were off of your normal energy or mood.

When we feel that way, we must be careful and be cautious, as we become prime targets for the enemy’s attack.

The best thing to do is to quickly ask God to cover your mind and heart from the tricks and traps of the enemy, with the Blood of Jesus. Then pick an encouraging scripture passage that you can meditate on during the day.

My favorite passage is 1 Corinthians 13, also known as the “Love Chapter.” Once you read it you will understand.

1 Corinthians 13

New International Version (NIV)

13 If I speak in the tongues  of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

I invite you to filter your day through this chapter. We all still have learning and growing to do. Let’s walk our journey with love, mindfulness and care as often as we can.

Wait, Worship, Pray & Obey…

A Letter to God’s Beloved Creation;

If God asks us to wait, it does not mean to do nothing. When God asks us to wait it means that while we are preparing for God to answer, we must continue to worship, pray and obey.

Waiting on God never meant to lock ourselves in a room and sitting. Waiting on God is a Divine Romance. While we wait, we seek God’s face and stay in His presence.

At home, when I am preparing my husband a meal, I sit his plate in front of him. Before I go on to fix my plate I always ask him, “Baby, do you need anything else?” If he needs something, I will bring it to him.  In the very same way if we are waiting on God, we are close enough to Him to ask, “Father, do you need anything?” We wait patiently for the answer. While we wait, we continue to worship, pray, intercede for others and continue to walk in the Word and Will of God.

One day, God will show you your divine purpose….the reason why you were created. Just be ready when he Calls and says, “I have need of you.”

Luke 19:28-31

Living Bible (TLB)

28 After telling this story, Jesus went on toward Jerusalem, walking along ahead of his disciples. 29 As they came to the towns of Bethphage and Bethany, on the Mount of Olives, he sent two disciples ahead, 30 with instructions to go to the next village, and as they entered they were to look for a donkey tied beside the road. It would be a colt, not yet broken for riding.

“Untie him,” Jesus said, “and bring him here.31 And if anyone asks you what you are doing, just say, ‘The Lord needs him.’”

Seek the Lord…

Gods-Invitation-to-Intimacy-627x376

Good Tueday Morning.

I’m going keep my words brief because the Word of God is lengthy today. I don’t want to take anything away from it. I leave you with this word today. “Seek the Lord, while he may be found.”

Isaiah 55

Living Bible (TLB)

55 Say there! Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink—even if you have no money! Come, take your choice of wine and milk—it’s all free! Why spend your money on food that doesn’t give you strength? Why pay for groceries that do you no good? Listen and I’ll tell you where to get good food that fattens up the soul!

Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, for the life of your soul is at stake. I am ready to make an everlasting covenant with you, to give you all the unfailing mercies and love that I had for King David. He proved my power by conquering foreign nations.  You also will command the nations, and they will come running to obey, not because of your own power or virtue, but because I, the Lord your God, have glorified you.

Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call upon him now while he is near. Let men cast off their wicked deeds; let them banish from their minds the very thought of doing wrong! Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy upon them, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon! This plan of mine is not what you would work out, neither are my thoughts the same as yours! For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than yours, and my thoughts than yours.

10 As the rain and snow come down from heaven and stay upon the ground to water the earth, and cause the grain to grow and to produce seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry, 11 so also is my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It shall accomplish all I want it to and prosper everywhere I send it. 12 You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills, the trees of the field—all the world around you—will rejoice. 13 Where once were thorns, fir trees will grow; where briars grew, the myrtle trees will sprout up. This miracle will make the Lord’s name very great and be an everlasting sign of God’s power and love.

I love you with an Everlasting Love. Please enjoy the worship video, found at the bottom of the page, performed by Phillips, Craig and Dean entitled, “Come, Now is the Time to Worship.”

Prayer Changes Things…

Good morning and Happy Monday,

God is so good. It’s Monday morning and that means it is time to pray.

Why do we pray every day? The reason is that we want to set the tone and the atmosphere for the Spirit of the Living God to dwell with us and guide us according to the will of God.

Our prayers give honor to God. Our prayers remind us that God’s will is always supreme. Our prayers help us to come into alignment with God’s will. We ask God, as we go throughout our day, to protect us from all hurt, harm and danger that comes from the enemy.

This is how Jesus told his disciples to pray:

Matthew 6:5-15

Living Bible (TLB)

“And now about prayer. When you pray, don’t be like the hypocrites who pretend piety by praying publicly on street corners and in the synagogues where everyone can see them. Truly, that is all the reward they will ever get. But when you pray, go away by yourself, all alone, and shut the door behind you and pray to your Father secretly, and your Father, who knows your secrets, will reward you.

7-8 “Don’t recite the same prayer over and over as the heathen do, who think prayers are answered only by repeating them again and again. Remember, your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him!

“Pray along these lines: ‘Our Father in heaven, we honor your holy name. 10 We ask that your kingdom will come now. May your will be done here on earth, just as it is in heaven. 11 Give us our food again today, as usual, 12 and forgive us our sins, just as we have forgiven those who have sinned against us. 13 Don’t bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the Evil One. Amen.’ 14-15 Your heavenly Father will forgive you if you forgive those who sin against you; but if yourefuse to forgive them, he will not forgive you.

Keep God in the Middle…

d8b52c6fd7336ec37a6cb9ddb287912c--have-faith-the-foundation

Good morning, Beautiful Ones:

Happy Friday!!

If it is Friday then you know what it means. We are about to Praise the Lord. I love ending the work week with a praise dance, Amen.

No matter what you went through this week, lay it at the feet of Jesus. When you give your cares, troubles and burdens to God, it then allows you to raise your hands to God and put him between you and any problem.  When we put God in the Middle of our circumstances, he has a way of working things out.

Remember, take your eyes off of the problem and look to God. He will stand in the Gap for you. Right in the middle of it.

Be encouraged by the scripture for today and this weekend, as it reads:

Psalm 34:1-3

Living Bible (TLB)

I will praise the Lord no matter what happens. I will constantly speak of his glories and grace. 2I will boast of all his kindness to me. Let all who are discouraged take heart. Let us praise the Lord together and exalt his name.

Send Me, Lord, I’ll Go…

Good morning, Precious Ones:

I pray that you have greeted God this morning and in return felt the Spirit surround you with peace.

I count it a joy and a privilege to be among the servants of God. What an honor it is for the God of ALL creation to tap you on the shoulder and say, “I need you.”

Whatever it is the Lord needs, I pray that our response will continuously be, “I’ll be the one, use me, for your Glory.”

Isaiah 6:8

New International Version (NIV)

8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Whom the Sons Sets Free…

Happy Hump Day. We have made it midway through our week. This morning, I woke up wanting to move my feet.

Initially, I was tapping my feet. Then I started moving my arms. I said, “Holy Spirit, it’s not Friday yet. I always play the fast, uptempo praise songs on Friday.” The Holy Spirit was so clear in saying, “My Love is limitless. Everyday is a good day to dance before me. I have given you liberty through my spirit. Don’t become regimented. Praise Me in the Dance.”

Galatians 5:1

New International Version (NIV)

Freedom in Christ

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

In light of the liberty and freedom we have in Christ, I invite you to dance before the Lord.

How GREAT is Our God…

Global Worship

Psalm 147:5-7

New Living Translation (NLT)

How great is our Lord! His power is absolute!
    His understanding is beyond comprehension!
The Lord supports the humble,
but he brings the wicked down into the dust.

Sing out your thanks to the Lord;
sing praises to our God with a harp.

From the north to the south. From California to Florida. From Greece to Russia.

Every color, every creed, every nation. Around the world there is continuous nonstop praises to God. When one time zone ends another begins their songs to heaven.

Have a blessed Tuesday. I love you with an AMAZING LOVE.

Like the Dew in the Morning…

Deuteronomy 32:1-4

Contemporary English Version (CEV)

32 Earth and Sky,
    listen to what I say!
Israel, I will teach you.
My words will be like gentle rain
    on tender young plants,
or like dew on the grass.

Join with me in praising
the wonderful name
    of the Lord our God.
The Lord is a mighty rock,
    and he never does wrong.
God can always be trusted
    to bring justice.

Good morning, Loved Ones:

God is just as great as He was yesterday. God is faithful in all he does. God is gracious and merciful in every decision he makes.

Let us pray.

Father God:

We come to you with our hearts filled with praise and our minds focused on you. Use us today for your glory. Your will be done, on earth and in us, as it has been spoken and decreed in heaven.

Even though we may not always understand your ways, we will always trust you. We know that our thoughts are not your thoughts. Your ways are sure and your love is everlasting.

Go with us, your children, today and order our steps according to your will and your way.

In the matchless and powerful name of our Chief Intercessor, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer.

Amen.

No Weapons…

24ca9495b7fc3133ebf8f258edeaa536--louise-hay-light-angel

We are covered.

I know this week as been an emotional one, full of ups and downs. However, in order to stay connected with the Vine, it’s time to get our spirits built up and energized. What better way to that than by praising God with a dance, this morning.

What does it mean to be covered by God?

It means knowing that NO spiritual weapons or traps will  be victorious in trying to destroy us.

Stay Close

It means that if we stay close to God that we will know what is coming. God always gives us a heads-up of the enemy’s plan, so that we can take out battle places and be ready.

Be Ready

If God puts on your heart to fast and pray for a few days or to go into a deeper level of Worship, there is a reason. He is trying to prepare and position you to stand your ground.

With the right spiritual preparation we become Bulletproof.  Amen

Isaiah 54:17

Contemporary English Version (CEV)

17 Weapons made to attack you
    won’t be successful;
words spoken against you
    won’t hurt at all.

My servants, Jerusalem is yours!
I, the Lord, promise
    to bless you with victory.
