Sweet, Sweet Spirit …

Good morning, Family:

I greet you in the sweet, sweet spirit of the Lord. I started my morning singing Sweet, Sweet Spirit. It’s funny, from time to time, certain hymns will drop in my spirit and I either start singing or humming the song.

This morning, I could feel the spirit of God just embracing my soul. It felt like the hugs my dad use to give. When God gives me a hug, my spirit automatically feels relaxed. I know, in that moment, that everything is going to be ok.

Philippians 2:1-11

The Message (MSG)

He Took on the Status of a Slave

1-4 If you’ve gotten anything at all out of following Christ, if his love has made any difference in your life, if being in a community of the Spirit means anything to you, if you have a heart, if you care— then do me a favor: Agree with each other, love each other, be deep-spirited friends. Don’t push your way to the front; don’t sweet-talk your way to the top. Put yourself aside, and help others get ahead. Don’t be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand.

5-8 Think of yourselves the way Christ Jesus thought of himself. He had equal status with God but didn’t think so much of himself that he had to cling to the advantages of that status no matter what. Not at all. When the time came, he set aside the privileges of deity and took on the status of a slave, became human! Having become human, he stayed human. It was an incredibly humbling process. He didn’t claim special privileges. Instead, he lived a selfless, obedient life and then died a selfless, obedient death—and the worst kind of death at that—a crucifixion.

9-11 Because of that obedience, God lifted him high and honored him far beyond anyone or anything, ever, so that all created beings in heaven and on earth—even those long ago dead and buried—will bow in worship before this Jesus Christ, and call out in praise that he is the Master of all, to the glorious honor of God the Father.

Go in peace and joyfully serve the Lord, with praise and thanksgiving in your heart and mind.

I AM HEALED..

Good morning, Family:

I hope everyone is in perfect health or on the road to perfect healing, both inside and out.

This week, I am one of many Geogians who have been hit with a cold/flu virus. In light of the needed good health, I turned to today’s scripture verses. I set my mind and my mouth to proclaim that I am healed. I’m in the process of being healed. By His stripes I am healed. My God is the Healer. The greatest physician of All.

Jeremiah 17:14

New International Version (NIV)

14 Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed;
save me and I will be saved,
for you are the one I praise.

Isaiah 53:5 King James Version (KJV)

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Go in peace while joyfully praising and serving the Lord.

King of Glory…

Psalm-24-verse-8-1-300x300

Good Monday Morning, Family:

Let’s start off our week giving praises and thanksgiving to God. Open your mouth and just begin to love on God.

Psalm 24:8-10

King James Version (KJV)

Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

I love you with the amazing and everlasting love of the Lord. Go in peace and joy while serving the Lord.

I WILL CALL UPON THE LORD…

Good morning and Blessed Friday Morning, Family:

Sending out love and peace to you all. I pray the God of mercy and grace would rush to your side, each time you call upon Him.

Psalm 18:1-10

New International Version (NIV)

Psalm 18

For the director of music. Of David the servant of the Lord. He sang to the Lord the words of this song when the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He said:

I love you, Lord, my strength.

The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the hornc]”>[c] of my salvation, my stronghold.

I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I have been saved from my enemies.
The cords of death entangled me; the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me.
The cords of the grave coiled around me; the snares of death confronted me.

In my distress I called to the Lord; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.

The earth trembled and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains shook; they trembled because he was angry.

Smoke rose from his nostrils;  consuming fire came from his mouth, burning coals blazed out of it.

He parted the heavens and came down; dark clouds were under his feet.

10 He mounted the cherubim and flew; he soared on the wings of the wind

Have a great weekend, family. I love you with the amazing and everlasting love of the Lord.

Now, go in peace, while joyfully serving the Lord. Amen.

Infectious Joy…

Good morning, Family:

I hope you are all in a place of peace and internal joy, in Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

New International Version (NIV)

16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

I am so grateful for every time I am allowed the opportunity to meet new people and have new experiences.

Every day, each of us will pass by, speak with, or have an encounter with someone. My personal rule for my life, as a Christian and a human being, is to make sure that my response,  words or actions has made the encounter a positive experience.

Standing in line in a grocery store. Do I kindly talk to the person in front of me and within minutes we are laughing and smiling, or do I grumble about how long the wait is currently? Which response would bear “good fruit” in that moment?

I’m a Southerner, I say hello to everyone. However, depending on where a person is from, they may or may not respond back to me. Their response to my joy will not stop me from saying hello to thirty more people. My responsibility is to share love through my daily living. My prayer is for their joy to increase, under grace and perfect conditions.

I encourage us all to maintain an energy and vibration of love, peace and joy.

Go in peace, while joyfully serving the Lord

Wisdom…

Going-Deeper-jpg-600x600

Good morning, Family:

I greet you with the amazing and everlasting love of the Lord. May your heart’s desire always be for more of God. Allow the Word of God to be your road map and the Spirit of God to be your guide.

Study the Word and allow it to penetrate every part of your mind, body and soul. It’s time to go deeper. You have swam on the shallow end long enough.

Dive…Dive…Dive!

Wise Sayings of Solomon

A Manual for Living

1-6 These are the wise sayings of Solomon,
    David’s son, Israel’s king—
Written down so we’ll know how to live well and right,
    to understand what life means and where it’s going;
A manual for living,
    for learning what’s right and just and fair;
To teach the inexperienced the ropes
and give our young people a grasp on reality.
There’s something here also for seasoned men and women,
still a thing or two for the experienced to learn—
Fresh wisdom to probe and penetrate,
the rhymes and reasons of wise men and women.

Go in peace, while joyfully serving the Lord.

Grace Be Unto You…

20181203_061737

Good morning, Divine Servants of the Most High God:

To the lights of God around the world, I send you love, hope, grace and mercy in the name of our Chief Intercessor and Redeemer, Jesus Christ.

The Sacred Journey Devotional is literally read by faithful Christians all over the world. I want to thank each of you for all of your love, support and prayers. This devotional is a ministry that is very close my heart and more than anything I want the Lord to be pleased.

Be encouraged, in your walk, saints. Your life is a living testimonial to the world. Keep this word in your heart today:

2 Peter 1:1-11

New King James Version (NKJV)

Greeting the Faithful

Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ,

To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Fruitful Growth in the Faith

But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.

10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; 11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Go in peace, while faithfully and joyfully serving the Lord.

Shine Your Light…

slide_1

Good morning, Precious Lights of God:

Happy Friday and peace and blessings to you all. This week has been super busy for me. I’m excited that I was able to interact with some incredible people this week.

One important thing that I always remember, wherever I go, is that I am a Light carrier for God. My heart is that those around me would see the light, love and peace of God in my life. We are all God’s Ambassadors of Light.

Isaiah 60:1-3

Living Bible (TLB)

60 Arise, my people! Let your light shine for all the nations to see! For the glory of the Lord is streaming from you. Darkness as black as night shall cover all the peoples of the earth, but the glory of the Lord will shine from you. All nations will come to your light; mighty kings will come to see the glory of the Lord upon you.

Go in peace, while joyfully serving the Lord.

Grace and Peace to each of you, in Christ Jesus:

Philippians 2:1-11

New International Version (NIV)

Imitating Christ’s Humility

Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:

Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God  something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man,
    he humbled himself
    by becoming obedient to death—
even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Go in peace, while joyfully serving the Lord.

Holy Ghost Power…

doveflyin1g

Good morning, Saints of the Most High God:

I greet you with love and joy this morning. Today is brand new day. A day to rejoice. A day to be thankful. A day to be grateful. A day to show love. A day to show peace. Today is a day to be mighty and powerful in the Holy Spirit of God.

2 Corinthians 1:3-7

New International Version (NIV)

Praise to the God of All Comfort

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ,so also our comfort abounds through Christ. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings,so also you share in our comfort.

Family, we have the wonder working power of the Holy Spirit surging through us. Call on the Spirit of God to lead, guide and direct your every step. I will be continually praying and rejoicing for your journey. Each step of your journey is both sacred and divine.

I love you, with the amazing and everlasting love of the Lord. Go in peace, while serving the Lord.
