Greetings, Precious Family:
May the Peace of the Lord be with you.
Family, yesterday we talked about having a lifestyle of worship. When we think about a lifestyle of worship, there are two benefits.
First, a lifestyle of worship matures a believer in the things of God and allows a person to learn and grow and eventually lead others.
The second benefit is that a lifestyle of worship gives glory to God. One thing I always tell people is that everything that happens to us, and how we respond, is for our growth and God’s glory.
We were created to worship God. No matter what, God will get the glory. God has said that He is a jealous God and does not want to share his glory with anyone or anything.
Our worship is for God and by God.
Scripture Passage of the Day
Exodus 34:13-15
21st Century King James Version
13 But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their Asherah poles.
14 For thou shalt worship no other god; for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God,
15 lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee and thou eat of his sacrifice,
