Greetings, Precious Family:
May the Peace of the Lord be with you.
Family, I was thinking about what it means to be approved. My husband and I are in the process of deciding if we are going to build our next house. When thinking about a large purchase like a home, there are typically several qualifications that have to be met in order for one to be approved and move forward with the process.
Thinking of approvals and qualifications made me think of the second letter written to Timothy in the New Testament:
Scripture Passage of the Day
2 Timothy 2:15
New International Version
15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
Let Us Pray
Spirit of the Living God, thank you for all the ways you lead and guide us every day. Thank you for instilling in us the desire to show ourselves approved so that when it’s time for us to step forward, we will be ready to give an account and stand approved by God, through the finished work of the cross and perfecting of our faith.
And we let it be…And so it is…
