Greetings, Precious Family:

May the Peace of the Lord be with you.

Family, one of the blessings that comes with walking in obedience to the Cross of Jesus Christ, is an abundance of favor. What is favor you ask? The favor of God feels like a warm hug and open doors, even when I didn’t ask for it and definitely didn’t deserve it.

The reason is that God promised to do exceedingly and abundantly more than I can ask or think, as long as I walk in obedience and truth.

God promised that if I delight myself in Him, that he would give me the desires of my heart. If you don’t believe me, just read below.

Remember this… the blessing is a two-way street. Delight your heart in the Lord, THEN the blessings will come.

Scripture Passage of the Day

Psalm 37:3-7
New International Version

3 Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
4 Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.

5 Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him and he will do this:
6 He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
your vindication like the noonday sun.

7 Be still before the Lord
and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when people succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes.

Let Us Pray

Spirit of the Living God, thank you for loving me, even when I was unlovable. Thank you for seeing me as perfect, because of Jesus’s blood sacrifice and victory over the grave. Thank you for giving me access to blessings, favor, and peace even when I didn’t deserve it. I humbly bow before you in holy reverence. Holy are you, Lord. In Jesus name.
