Stronger

Greetings, Precious Family:

May the Peace of the Lord be with you always.

Family, we spoke last week about salvation, sanctification, working out our salvation, and what it means to strive to be blameless and holy.

Today, I want to talk about another aspect of salvation many people don’t understand. In all honesty, from time to time, I have to be reminded of this topic myself. Here it goes…..

When we are saved, we automatically are connected to a Helper, the Holy Spirit who comes along side us to show us the right way to go. When we follow the urgings and directions of Holy Spirit of God, we know and understand that we are never alone.

Another amazing aspect of being filled with the Holy Spirit of God is that when we are walking in unison with God’s will, we are not operating in our own strength. Our strength comes from the Lord. The only time we don’t feel stronger is when we have stepped outside of the will of God and we are trying to do things on our own.

More than likely, our problems and frustrations are happening  because we have NOT asked God what his will was for the situation. The Bible says if we pray, according to the will of the Father, our prayers and questions will be answered.

There is a reason that the Lord’s Prayer says, “Your will be done..on earth as it in heaven.” We must be in synch with the Lord’s will in order for our strength to come. When I was growing up, I would hear the saints say to each other, “I pray your strength in the Lord.” That was a reminder to keep their eyes on God and their will set to his will.

Holy Scriptures

Isaiah 40:31 – But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

Isaiah 41:10 – Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Exodus 15:2 – The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

1 Chronicles 16:11 – Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His presence continually!

Ephesians 6:10 – Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.

Family, we are never alone on our Christian journey. Never let the enemy have you believe you are all by yourself. That is what the enemy wants you to think!!!! You are NOT ALONE!!!

If God is for you, then who can be against you!!!

On this Holy Week, I pray your continued strength in the Lord. Our strength comes from our Messiah becoming the ultimate perfect sacrifice, even unto death.

BUT ON THIRD DAY, GLORY BE TO GOD, EVERYTHING CHANGED!!!

Holy, holy, holy, you Lord are Holy.

Praise The Risen King!!!

What Must I Do?

Greetings Precious Family,

May the never-ending Peace of the Lord be with you always. 🙏

What must I do to be saved? How do I work out my salvation, once I obtain it? What does it mean to be sanctified, blameless, and holy?

These are questions that a lot of people ask, even those who have been Christians for many years. So over the next few weeks, we are going to talk about each one and any others you would like to ask.

The first question, “What must I do to be saved?”

Salvation is very simple, even though some people make it harder than it needs to be. Salvation doesn’t cost money or time. There is no amount of acts you can do to be saved. There is no amount of money you can give to buy Salvation. Salvation is a heart thing ♥️. Salvation is about your will, soul, mind, and heart. All of the things you cannot see from the outside.

Salvation is believing that Jesus was born of a clean untouched virgin and becoming the only begotten not made Son of God. Also, salvation is an Invitation from the Spirit of the Living God to accept the perfect work that Jesus Christ did on the cross of Calvary and the victory he won be overcoming hell, death, and the grave and taking his seat at the right hand of God.

Salvation is saying, “Jesus, I believe you are who you say you are. I accept you into my heart. Please forgive me for my sins. Thank you for sacrificing your life for me. Please fill me and lead me with your Holy Spirit. I receive you now!!!!

Holy Scriptures

Acts 16:25-34

New International Version

25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose. 27 The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped. 28 But Paul shouted, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!”

29 The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. 30 He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” 32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house. 33 At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his household were baptized. 34 The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before them; he was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God—he and his whole household.
