Choose Victory!!!

Good morning, Family:

May the perfect peace and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you always.

Family, do you remember the song from church entitled ‘Victory is Mine‘? The song was recorded by Ms. Dorothy Norword. This song has been in my mouth all week long. The words to the song came out of my mouth every time I was making decisions. I started singing…

Victory is Mine, Victory is Mine, victory today is mine. I told Satan, get thee behind, victory today is mine. Joy is mine, joy is mine, joy today is mine, I told Satan, get the behind, joy today is mine.

Family, a life of following Christ, is a life of choices, discipline, and obedience. Not in a robotic, legalistic, or burdened way but as an outpouring of our love for Christ. We live our lives as a constant act of worship for the completed work that Christ did for conquering death, hell, and the grave.

Precious Ones, we have been given dominion over the enemy!!! We have the authority to step on the head of the enemy of our souls. So much of what we face is spiritual warfare, but we are getting beat up because we aren’t opening our mouths and speaking with Christian authority to the atmosphere and to the enemy.

Holy Scriptures

Ephesians 6:18

Tree of Life Version

[a] 18 Pray in the Ruach (Spirit) on every occasion, with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, keep alert with perseverance and supplication for all the kedoshim (holy ones).

Family, you ALREADY have the victory. All you have to do is walk BOLDLY in it. I speak God’s protection and peace over each of you reading this. May the priceless and redeeming Blood of Jesus cover and go before you, as a shield against the enemies of your soul. I pray that the authority of who you ALREADY ARE would bubble up to the surface as you face your day.

Deceiving Ourselves…

Greetings, Precious Family:

May the grace and peace of the Lord rest and abide with you always.

Family, have you ever been thinking about doing something that the Holy Spirit directed you to do? You know what you heard and are ready and excited to jump in with both feet.

Then…right before you are about to get started on whatever it was God was leading you to do, a little doubt or question pops in your mind. A question like, “Did I hear God correctly?”, or “Maybe I should wait until later. I’m sure that whatever God needed me to do will still be there.”

Family, that is the enemy trying to deceive us and make us think what we heard the Lord say was wrong. Why does this happen? One thing about the Enemy of our soul is that he is always seeking to steal, kill, devour, and deride. The enemy knows that if there is just a little sprinkle of doubt, then the purpose and calling for what God instructed us to do will fail.

We have to stay vigilant and on our faces before the Lord, especially when we hear specific instructions from the Holy Spitit. We  must stayed prayed up and full of worship in our mouths and in our hearts.

In all truth, we are accountable for what we receive from God. May our hearts be in tune with the vibration of heaven so that we will know and have faith that God will use us for an appointed time, according to his Holy and perfect will.

Do not be deceived. Be vigilant. Be Ready.

Luke 1:46-52

Mary’s Song

46 And Mary said:

My soul glorifies the Lord
47     and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
48 for he has been mindful
of the humble state of his servant.
From now on all generations will call me blessed,
49     for the Mighty One has done great things for me—
    holy is his name.
50 His mercy extends to those who fear him,
    from generation to generation.
51 He has performed mighty deeds with his arm;
he has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts.
52 He has brought down rulers from their thrones
but has lifted up the humble.

No Greater Love…

Greetings, Precious Family:

May the perfect and unfailing Peace of the Lord be with you always.

In the United States, on February 14th, we celebrate St. Valentine Day. It is a day we share and show love to those  closest to our hearts. Whether it is mother/father, spouse/partner, brother/sister, or just our favorite human beings and sometimes even our favorite animals. We give gifts of love, from our hearts, to let the person(s) know we are thinking of them.

We have St. Valentine to thank for all of the sharing of love. St. Valentine believed in love and marriage and was ultimately killed for it. When you have time, read up on Emperor Claudius or the name he is better known for “Claudius The Cruel.” Claudius banned marriages so that the soldiers would not be distracted and could concentrate on fighting for the Roman army. St. Valentine believed in love so much that he risked his life to secretly unite couples in marriage who were in love.

My heart will eternally always belong to Jesus. The love that I have been shown through Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection will always be the highest form of love. God loved me, in spite of me. Who does that??? There is no Greater Love than the love shown to us by Jesus.

Holy Scriptures

John 15:9-17

New King James Version

Love and Joy Perfected

9 “As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.

11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. 12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. 17 These things I command you, that you love one another.

Family, I love to watch the Mime videos of Beneal Smith, Jr. His creativity just jumps off of the screen. Today’s worship video is by Pastor Smokie Norful. No Greater Love is one of my favorite songs. I pray that both of these Men of God blesses you today and reminds you of how much we are truly loved.

For Me…

Good morning, Precious Family:

May the Perfect Peace of our Lord, Jesus The Christ, be with you all.

Family, do you ever think about, from time to time, how truly blessed we are as children of the Most High God?

When I think about ALL that Jesus did, just for me, I cannot help but have a heart of gratitude and thankfulness. If Im being truly honest, a feeling of unworthiness comes over me as well.

When I think about all that we stand on as, Christians, and our belief in the perfected forms of God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; I stand in awe of the love and the sacrifice that was shown.

Think about it, Jesus took so much from people, just for us…

He took all the doubt of people calling him a false prophet. He took people treating him as a familiar boy growing up in Nazareth. He took religious leaders looking for ways to destroy him. He took his own disciples, not believing him. He did all of that BEFORE he was wiped, beaten, stabbed, and crucified on a cross. He did it all for me. He did it all for you.

Holy Scriptures

1 Peter 2:21-25

New International Version

21 To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.

22 “He committed no sin,
and no deceit was found in his mouth.”[a]

23 When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. 24 “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” 25 For “you were like sheep going astray,[b] but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

Song of Worship

Pastor and Psalmist William Murphy

Family, please don’t take your walk with Christ as something that is common. God is not a common God. The Infinite, All Knowing, and Eternal Being made a decision to love us. Think about it. Think on the little things, today, of all the things God has done for you.
