² “Open the gates, that the righteous nation may enter, The one that ^[a]remains faithful and trustworthy.
³ You will keep in ^[b]perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both ^[c]inclination and character], Because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation].
⁴“Trust [confidently] in the Lord forever [He is your fortress, your shield, your banner], For the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages].

Worship with Prayer

To the Lord of All that is,

I lift a prayer of Thankfulness to you. Thank you for allowing your Perfect Peace to rest in my soul and my heart. No matter what may come my way, Your Peace is the Keeper of my soul. I can rest well, even when surrounded by tests, trials, sickness and even death itself. Through it all, you Lord, are the reason I get up and lay down. You are my source and my strength.

Without you, Lord, where would I be? Please don’t ever take your presence, which is my peace, away from me. Thank you for allowing me to walk in your shadow and grace. Strengthen us, your servants, for the journey ahead, until we meet face to face. We lift this prayer and petition to You, In the precious and perfect name of Jesus, The Christ. And it is so and shall be forever more. Amen, Amen, and Amen again.
